"Ramen? Seriously? I don't get it" you ask trying to get an explanation while he twists the chopsticks in his hand between two fingers, impatiently waiting for his food.
"You'll see" he replies as the old woman who prepared your food is getting closer with two full bowls of hot ramen in her hands.
As soon as she places the bowl in front of him, his eyes sparkle as he inhales the steam coming up.
"Here you go Jungkookie" the woman says petting his back like he was her nephew.
"Thank you nana" he kindly smiles at her who smiles back to the guy before turning her eyes at you.
"And who is this beautiful lady? Your girlfriend?" She asks making you twist your nose a little, alongside surprise following your face right after as Jungkook burst into laugh.
What the fuck is he laughing at?
"No nana, she's just a girl I met the other day" he replies laughing even more at your now narrowed eyes
"Oh don't let her go Jungkookie, she is stunning" she says again, but this time he's not laughing anymore. Indeed his features suddenly became serious as he looks at you but not for long since his sight drops to his hands while he's nervous playing with the chopsticks.
What did nana say?
"Okay nana, thank you for the food" he replies getting up to give her a sweet kiss on her head. The scene warms your heart for a few seconds, at least till he sits down again and his sweet features turn into the rude ones from before.
"Eat or it will get cold"
The fragrance of hot stew that is coming out of it is incredible the bowl itself is a work of art. Long soft noodles with three pieces of tender pork, shiitake mushrooms, soft boiled egg, spring onions and to complete the whole meal, nori seaweed on the side.

"Come on, try it" he demands excited before even tasting his food. Too excited to see your reaction at your first try of what you can deduce it may be his favorite dish.
Helped by the spoon on your left hand to get some stew, you grab some noodles and mushrooms with your chopsticks and have a taste.
