"sire were under attack!"

Arthur jumped out of his seat and grabbed his sword, "have all the knights meet me in the throne room, now!" Arthur turned to a frightened Gwen.

"Gwen get all women and children to safe rooms, and Merlin" he turned to where Merlin should be, "where the bloody hell is Merlin?"

"oh no,...... I was supposed to wake him up he is still sleeping! sorry" Arthur rolled his eyes at Merlin's laziness.

Arthur turned to the man whom just brought the awful news "sir Voldent please go wake up Merlin and get him a sword we need all men to fight even if there as lazy as merlin."

"Sir its too late the right wing of the castle has already been taken"

Arthurs heart skipped a beat.... is Merlin okay?...... is he alive? NO, I cant think like this right know Merlin is fine, he's always okay.

"aright then we must fight on meet me in the battle field!"

Arthur stood before his men of thousands

"Men tonight we fight for Camelot and if were to die we all die together!"

Arthur turned to Morganas men of millions with no fear in his eyes.

"tonight we show that witch that Camelot will never fall, tonight we fight for the love of Camelot!!"

The armies clashed in a brutal fight, for this was the last fight for Camelot and the last fight for Arthur.

Morgana stood with Arthur at the boarder of Camelot. All Arthur could see was dead bodies everywhere, the only hope he had left was that Merlin, Gaius, Gwen all fled in time.

"Oh dear brother you where right about one thing, Camelot will nevr fall but It sure as hell will burn down!"

Morgana lifted her hands and muttered something under her breath and fireballs hit Camelot burning it down in ash.

Merlin woke to the sound of warning bells and the smell of something burning, he opened his eyes and everything before him was on fire. he grabbed his shoes and quickly opened the door to his room, but what he saw before him was even worse.

before him all he could see was fire, fire licking the curtains, fire devouring every single book.

Merlin quickly headed for the door burning his hands as he quickly grabbed his magic book.

he ran out the door looking back at the old physicians room, his home for the last time.

Merlin made his way out of Camelot's doors and into the courtyard. before him was more fire but this time there where burned bodies all over the courtyard.

Merlin's eyes scanned all the bodies hoping not to see any one he knew but no such luck, the she was..... Gwen.

Gwen's body was nothing now but a skeleton wearing a burnt dress. Merlin could feel the tears slowly crawl down his cheeks. but the thing that killed him the most was the fact that she was holding on to Arthurs bloody cape.

Arthur! Where was he???? Merlin went  in circles looking at every body.

he knew all these people, Merlin Watch the flames climb high into the night, he saw fire burning the trees. He could smell the blood on the breeze, he couldn't take it.

He collapsed on the ground with tears sliding down his face, everyone is dead, his friends..... his family. Everything he ever knew is now ash, he had to leave he cant stay. he got up quickly only to be flung by a fiery force. the fire ball licked up all the bodies making its way over to Merlin but he got on his wobbly feet and made his way over to Arthurs horse........ He flung his body on the horse and he galloped out of Camelot never to look back ever again.

Arthur watched as a horse with a man on top of it galloped out of the Castle. not just Any man......... it was Merlin.

Arthur tried to call out to him but he couldn't his toung forgot how to speak. he tried to call gain but all that came out was a sob.

He watched the fire devour Camelot as he was dragged by Morganas men into the darkness never too see Camelot or Merlin for a very long time
