Jurassic World Dominion X Camp Cretaceous

Part 2

West Texas.

On a farm two children are carrying a bucket going over to the henhouse and proceed to collect the eggs they have laid and feed the grain in the bucket to the chickens. the boy then hears a crackling sound and looks to the fence to see a Giant Locust climbing up it.

Both children look at it as they walk a little closer, only for the locust to fly over the crops revealing an enormous cloud of thousands of locusts swarming right toward them both, the children proceed to head toward the barn with the swarm charging toward them they make it to the barn and slam the doors shut with a mushroom cloud of locusts right outside.

The girl grabs a shovel as the two are continuously screaming. a single locust bursts through the door but as it is about to lunge at the girl the boy grabs a bucket and traps it inside. eventually after a while the attack seems to cease and the children's mother decides to contact an expert.

A car pulls up to the barn and out steps Ellie Sattler along with her students except for one of them, Darius Bowman who had agreed because the nature of this really hit his curiosity and concern.

Darius examine the field looking at the missing patch of crop flipping open a note book and jotting down everything significant detail "Interesting" He muttered under his breath.

"Thanks for coming. Wasn't sure who to call Fish and Wildlife didn't want to see it if it wasn't a dinosaur" Farmer Perez said greeting them all

"Yeah, well, they get all the attention" Ellie explained turning to her students "You guys want to vary the sampling plots a hundred yards each?" She asked them

The students nodded gathering their equipment, Darius climbed up on a tractor scanning the empty field but notices a patch of green in the distance "Is that your land?" He asked

"That's the Bennett's garden. The locust didn't eat that" Perez explained

"Do you plant the same seed as the Bennett's" Darius questioned curious.

"No, we're independent. They use Biosyn seed" Perez replied

Ellie sighed a little "Yeah i bet they do. You say you caught a live one?"

Darius remembered from years ago how Biosyn had been in contact with the old leaders of Mantah Corp and good thing he had a good friendship with ones who shaped the company for the better.

Chris (Pov)

I heard a lot of noise outside the cabin I immediately grabbed my pistol going outside to see Owen and Maisie standing with Blue the velociraptor being infront of them, holstering my pistol to show i'm not a threat.

I also noticed the little velociraptor crouched down next to Blue i'm guessing it was her daughter "She's cute" I commented appeasing her mother.

Blue called her daughter and both of them went dashing into the woods.

"Her nest has got to be nearby" Owen said

"And?" I questioned not seeing how that is relevant

Owen gave me a look I recognised all to well "Maise, get inside" He demanded starting to walk away.

"I'm coming with you" Maise said trying to follow him

Owen turned back "What did i just say" he said turning and running off into the woods

Maisie was visibly frustrated because she turned and stormed off into the cabin I thought of following her but i instead had to make sure Owen wouldn't get hurt or anything.
