I fast walked down the hallways looking for an escape route, trying to get away from Luke. I mean, yeah, Luke and I kissed and sparks flew. Blah, blah, blah. But that doesn't mean anything, he's just a player. The kind of guy who humps and dumps. No big deal right? Wrong, I had totally fallen for this guy since like the eighth grade.

My hand was still throbbing and I hated Amber, with a burning passion.

"TORI, STOP. PLEASE!" Really? Still trying to catch up with me? After snogging Amber and then trying to cat call me. He can take his petty bullshit elsewhere. I pushed open the main entrance doors and strutted towards my car.

I placed my books in the passenger seat and slammed the door. Basically coming nose to nose with Luke. I shoved his chest but he just grabbed my wrist and pulled me with him.

"Get away from me, you manwhore." I hissed, I shoved a little harder.

"Let me explain." He pleaded, I bitterly laughed and looked at him with a pitting glance.

"I have to go." I said through clenched teeth. My mind was replaying the kiss like a movie scene behind my eyes. I had to shake my head to clear the stupidity of myself.

"Tori-" He was swiftly cut off with Amber screeching his name. She was coming closer because her high pitched voice was becoming louder. She rounded the corner and spotted him. I laughed as she practically ran to him, almost knocking me over in the process. She slammed her lips down onto Luke's. His eyes widened and he pushed her off of him.

"Get off!" He almost yelled, she laughed and turned to me. I shrunk back from her a little. An emotion of power crossed her face as she stood a little taller. Amber was squaring up with me, looking me up and down. She laughed, just laughed.

"You are so fugly, it's a shame that your mom was prom queen and your dad prom king." She spat at me. Yes my parents were well known around here, but I was known as their quiet daughter who didn't look or talk back to someone.

"Umm. yeah." I trailed, not making eye contact with either of them.

Three cuts.

My hand started throbbing again, I could tell Luke had an astonished look to his facial features. I quickly turned and tried to walk away when I felt Amber's icy hand latch onto my wrist. Trying to yank free her nails dug into my bruised hand and I yelped in pain.

"Let go." I whimpered, my hand was probably broken from her. She smiled evilly at me and squeezed my hand before letting go. Tears pricked behind my eyes and I turned away once again. Even though they were standing outside of my car I needed to get away.

I just decided to walk home and made it there in ten minutes. I left my car at school and have to walk to school tomorrow morning. I place my headphones in my ear and played Sleeping With Sirens. They were my favorite band.

I couldn't hear anything so it surprised me when someone grabbed my arm. I nearly dropped everything as I was spun around to face Luke.

"Go away." I said. I took out one headphone and looked at him. Luke's eyes bored into mine so fiercely that I had to look away. I kept trying to yank free of his grasp, but he only tightened it.

"Tori. Please." He begged I scoffed and turned around.

"What?!" I snapped, he didn't know me. Yeah he knew my biggest secret, but I didn't care at the moment. I started to whimper at his tight hold on my wrist. Oh yeah, I kinda dug my pencil into my skin. Not very smart Tori. I mentally scolded myself. Luke looked down at my wrist and I tore my gaze away from him. His eyes were a cross between horror and disappointment.

"What the hell?" He whispered. Tears stung behind my eyes as I pulled out of his grasp.

"It's none of your business and your bitch of a girlfriend broke my hand you inconsiderate dick head." My words tumbled faster then I would've liked it. Luke looked angry. I've never seen him angry, was he angry at my words, or at me in general?

"I'm the inconsiderate one?" His voice was deathly calm. Oh lord, the only time anyone used that tone of voice was when they were pissed.

"I need to leave." I whisper, I can't look at his brown eyes, filled with obvious hatred. His grip tightened on my wrist and I whimpered. Luke dropped my hand and spun on his heel. Stomping away like a child.
