chapter 2: dungeon dive and the Loki familia

Solomon pov:

It's been a month since I first came to orario and joined the goddess Hecate now I'm entering the dungeon again the last time I went here I've reached the 10th floor now I'm going to beat that record.

Solomon: I'm now in the 4th floor just like last time the first ten floors are so boring the monsters here are no match for me.

Because I was getting bored I casted high-speed movement and blitzed through the 4th floor to the 12th floor.

The moment I arrived in the 12th floor a pack of silverbacks appeared in my path.

Solomon: "now it's getting interesting" I said with a massive grin.

3rd pov:

Solomon stopped a few meters away from the monsters. The silverbacks sensed his precense and immediately went to attack him.

Seeing the monsters attacking him Solomon casted his magic.

Solomon put out his left hand and casted "Ars ray" then from his palm a golden magic circle appeared and spewed out a ray of golden laser-like attack which struck 3 silverbacks in a line instantly killing the 3 of them.

"That's 3 down 4 more to go" Solomon thought.

The rest of the silverbacks were stunned to see their companions drop dead instantly however instead of retreating they became enraged and attacked with more fervor than before.

2 silverbacks now reached Solomon and were about to strike him with their gigantic fists however Solomon held out his hand and casted "void" a shield spell that not only blocked their attack but also reflected the attack right back at them sending them back a few meters.

"Liked it? Hurts right?" Solomon taunted.

"The light of life gather, condense, unify, turn into a great sword that cleaves the wicked, my name is Solomon, Ars Gladius" Solomon casted. A 3 verse spell that he chanted in under a second using his high-speed chanting skill this spell manifests a sword made out of light that deals tremendous amount of damage especially to dark-type beings.

Upon Solomon's command the sword of light flew and struck all the remaining silverbacks like a homing missile the silverbacks didn't even get a chance to shout as they were all immediately disintegrated.

"Now thats done let's go a little bit deeper" Solomon said with a grin.

Timeskip: a few hours later

" This time I managed to reach the 14th floor I could have reached deeper but I've used up almost all my mana and I don't really want to get a mind down in the middle of the freaking dungeon" Solomon thought.

" I'll just rest for now and return tomorrow I'll need to keep killing monsters if I want to become the strongest" Solomon thought in determination.

After a few hours of walking randomly looking for a place to eat Solomon finally found a restaurant named hostess of fertility.

"This seems like a good place to eat" Solomon said under his breath then entered the establishment.

Upon entering he was greeted with groups upon groups of adventurers and civilians eating, drinking and having a good time and being catered to by cute girls Solomon walked along the pub and sat in the counter.

"Excuse me I'd like to order" Solomon said to the dwarven woman behind the counter.

"The names Mia What do you want kid" the dwarven woman replied.

"One order of everything please" Solomon said.

Mama Mia smiled widely and said "now that's what i want to hear HAHAHAHAHA" then she went to the back.

A few minutes later his food arrived and he started gobling it down.

"Turns out venturing in the dungeon really makes you hungry hahaha" Solomon thought.

When he finished he heard boisterous laughter and shouts of celebrations on another table. Upon looking that way he saw multitudes of people but what stood out was a group of seven people three adults and four teens.

"Congrats on becoming level 5 Ains you are now officially one of the executives of the Loki familia" one of the people from the table a blonde palum with a golden spear at his side said.

"Yessss!!! Tonight is all about you Ains-tann!!!" Said another from the table a red haired woman  who was hugging the teen with golden hair tightly while the teen herself was resisting greatly.

"Get off me Loki" the teen now known as Ains said with an irritated tone.

"HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!" came a boisterous laughter from another person in the group who is an old male dwarf.

"Those people are.." Solomon trailed of.

"Their the Loki familia kid one of the strongest familia in orario alongside the Freya familia" said mama Mia who saw Solomon looking over the Loki familia's table.

"Loki and Freya huh?... I'll have to surpass them if I want to become the strongest" Solomon thought in determination.

A few minutes later Solomon finished his food and was about to pay when his attention was drawn to the entrance of the pub.

In the entrance he saw the most beautiful woman he has ever laid his eyes on. She is an elf that possesses jade-colored hair tied in a ponytail that reaches to her waist, her eyes has same jade color as her hair. She wears a green outfit with yellow borders, a white cloak over it, a black belt, a yellow sash, black leggings, and long brown boots.

The woman walked along the pub and stopped at Loki familia's table.

Mama Mia who saw Solomon looking at the elf in a daze grinned teasingly and said "looks like the newbie has a crush on the great sage of orario huh".

Solomon blushed and waved his hands" N-no I was just curious thats all haha" Solomon replied while rubbing the back of his head.

The elf talked to the goddess Loki "I'm sorry I'm late I was finishing up some paperwork" she said.

"Don't mind it Riveria we were just getting started" Loki said to the now identified elf.

Riveria then sat in an empty seat and started chatting with her fellow familia members.

"What her name?" Solomon asked to mama Mia.

Mama Mia smiled and replied " her name is Riveria ljos Alf she is one of orario's strongest adventurers a full-fleged level six".

Solomon gazed back at the elf and spoke"Riveria huh? What a beautiful name" said Solomon under his breath while gazing at Riveria.

Then Riveria looked his way and their eyes met for a second it seemed like there were only the two of them in the world.

Then Riveria averted her eyes and Solomon broke out of his daze then hurriedly left the pub after paying.

Riveria on the Loki familia's table thought "who was that? He had a different aura from anyone I've met my whole life and what is this tight feeling in my chest when I saw him"

Outside in the street we see Solomon humming happily in the streets.

"Riveria huh, I want to know you better I hope we meet properly nextime " he thought with a smile as he heads home.
