Harry Potter was having a bad day. He had just found out that he was a Horcrux, and that he had to die to destroy Voldemort. He was also being hunted by Death Eaters, who wanted to capture him and bring him to the Dark Lord. He had no idea where his friends were, or if they were even alive.
He was running through the forest, dodging curses and hexes, when he saw a bright light in the sky. He looked up and saw a huge metal object flying towards him. It looked like a giant bird, or maybe a plane, but it had a red and gold design and a large letter A on it.
He heard a voice coming from the object, loud and clear.
"Hey kid, need a lift?"
Harry blinked in disbelief. He recognized that voice. It was Deadpool, the mercenary with a mouth. He had met him once before, when he had accidentally traveled to another dimension through a faulty portkey. Deadpool had helped him get back to his own world, but not before making fun of his scar, his glasses, and his British accent.
Harry didn't have time to wonder what Deadpool was doing here, or how he knew where he was. He was surrounded by enemies, and he had nowhere else to go. He decided to take his chances with the crazy man in the flying machine.
He shouted back, "Yes!"
"Great! Hang on tight, kid. I'm coming down."
The metal object landed on the ground with a loud thud, crushing several Death Eaters under its weight. A hatch opened on the side, and Deadpool jumped out. He was wearing his red and black suit, and he had two swords strapped to his back. He also had a gun in each hand, which he used to shoot at the remaining Death Eaters.
"Come on, Harry! Get in!" Deadpool yelled.
Harry ran towards him, dodging more spells. He reached the hatch and climbed inside. He saw several other people sitting in the metal object. They all looked like superheroes. There was a man in a red and blue suit with a shield, a man in a metal suit with a glowing chest, a woman in a black suit with red hair, a man with long blond hair and a hammer, a man with green skin and muscles, and a man with an eye patch and a leather coat.
They all stared at Harry with curiosity and surprise.
"Who's this?" the man with the shield asked.
"This is Harry Potter," Deadpool said. "He's the boy who lived."
"The boy who lived?" the woman with red hair repeated.
"Yeah, he's like the chosen one or something," Deadpool said. "He has to kill this evil wizard guy named Voldemort."
"Voldemort?" the man with the eye patch said.
"Yeah, he's like Hitler but with magic," Deadpool said.
"That sounds bad," the man with the metal suit said.
"It is," Harry said.
"Well, don't worry kid," Deadpool said. "We're here to help you."
"You are?" Harry asked.
"Sure we are," Deadpool said. "We're the Avengers."
"The Avengers?" Harry asked.
"Yeah, we're like Earth's mightiest heroes," Deadpool said. "We save the world from aliens and stuff."
"Aliens?" Harry asked.
"Yeah, like these guys," Deadpool said, pointing at a screen that showed some green creatures attacking a city.
"Those are aliens?" Harry asked.
"Yup," Deadpool said.
"And you fight them?" Harry asked.
"Yup," Deadpool said.
"Why?" Harry asked.
"Because we're awesome," Deadpool said.
"Oh," Harry said.
He felt very confused and overwhelmed. He had no idea what was going on, or why these people were here. He wondered if this was some kind of dream, or maybe another dimension. He wished he could wake up from this nightmare.
He looked at Deadpool and asked,
"What are you doing here?"
Deadpool grinned and said,
"We're here to save you."
"Save me?" Harry asked.
"Yeah," Deadpool said. "We heard your song."
"My song?" Harry asked.
"Yeah," Deadpool said.
