{Lucid's Room}
Why did he get in trouble? Why'd he have to be put in the basement? Did they hurt him? So many questions, running through my head. I can't even begin to process what just happened. It's 1 in the afternoon and I'm almost positive he just got beat. I grab my phone and I text Cynthia. Even though her room is right down the hall, I'm too scared to leave my room.
"What the hell just happened?"
Almost instantly, she replies.
"Elis got caught smoking with an old friend."
"Weed?"
"Yep."
"Why'd he get sent down to the basement?"
"That's what happens when you get in trouble."
"I don't get it." She reads it and doesn't reply. I really wanna know what the hell is going on.
