Before I begin, this last chapter was inspired by @itsjustbyler! It has a few lines from their fic, just to clear anything up.

So thanks for inspiring me to write this last chapter! All credits go to you!

Third Person Pov:

1:47 am

Will and Mike have been married for 7 years now. They are sleeping in bed when they are woken up by a call from the hospital.

They both wake with a start, sitting up immediately and look at each other with a mixture of tiredness and excitement. They jump out of bed, grab any shirt off the floor and run downstairs.

"I'll get it!" Will screams.

"No, I wanna get it!" Mike whines, while running down the stairs.

"Hey, scooch!" Mike abruptly yells as he shoves Will to the side and grabs the phone off the counter, but not before Will snatches it out of his lanky fingers.

"Ha ha. Told you I'd get it." He says.

"Whatever. Just answer the goddamn phone, Will. "

Will nods, still giggling a little.

"Hello?"

"Hi! This is Hawkins Memorial Hospital. Is Will Byers Wheeler or Mike Byers Wheeler there?"

"Yes, Will speaking."

"Oh, great. We wanted you to know that your surrogate mother is in labour at the moment."

"Oh my God, that's amazing! We're on our way now!"

"Great, I'll let them know. You have a great night."

"Thanks, you too. Bye."

Will doesn't say anything. He stands there for twenty whole seconds with tears of joy in his eyes, hugging Mike before he pulls away and Mike asks;

"So? What happened?"

"Mike." Will chokes out.

"Yeah?"

"We're having a baby."

"I-I can't belie- right now?"

"Yes, she's in labour we've got to go."

"Ok, let's go." Mike says while grabbing the keys, unlocking the door and holding it for Will.

"Thanks, kind sir."

"No problem, Cleric." Mike says while smiling at Will.

Cleric was a name Mike had started calling him when they were just kids, when they used to play D&D, and never brought the nickname back until a couple years after they started dating. Will absolutely hated it when Mike first started calling him that again, but now he gets mad when he doesn't say it.

They are on their way to the hospital, where their baby would be born.

Mike is so tense as he drums his fingers on the steering wheel.

"I'm so nervous." Mike says. "What if I'm not a good dad? What if the baby doesn't like me?" He continued as Mike stared his dark brown eyes worryingly into Will's calm hazel ones.

"Don't worry, it'll be fine, Mike. You're gonna be a great dad, ok?" Will said, and smiled as he rubbed his husband's back. (HAHHA)

"Yeah. If you say so." He says back, unconvinced. "But you'll be better." He adds.

"I know." Says Will, while laughing.

But even though Will kept a cool front, he was terrified. He didn't know how to raise a child, or how to be a parent. He had only had one that actually cared about him and supported him. So, now that they are having a child, it's all Will can do to not scream his head off. Instead, he just plays with his ring on his necklace.

Mike seems to sense his unease and places a hand on Will's thigh.

"I'm here." , his gesture seems to say.

Will only smiles and nods.

2:21 am

They finally arrive at the hospital, and check in.

Mike bites nervously at his nails, while Will still fiddles with his necklace.

"Will and Mike Byers Wheeler?" The nurse calls.

We look at each other briefly before standing up and following her.

Will is walking with wobbly steps when Mike takes Will's hand in his own, not a word spoken.

"Ok, here is the delivery room." The nurse says softly.

"Oh my God, oh my God, OH MY GOD. Will I can't do this."

"Yes you can, everything will be fine. Come." (SIDE EYE)

"Take a deep breath." He adds.

Mike inhales slowly, then exhales with a shaky breath.

"Ready?" Mike asks.

"Are you ready?" He says back.

"Ready as I'll ever be." Mike smiles.

"Ok. Let's go."

They walk into the room to see a panting woman, as she must have just given birth not long ago.

"Would you two like to see her?"

"Yes."

"Yes." They say simultaneuosly.

The nurse nods and bring the baby out.

"You've got a healthy, beautiful baby girl."

"Wow. She looks just like you, Will. She has your eyes, too."

He said as he looked at his newborn, and her gorgeous hazel green eyes.

"Have you thought of a name for her yet?"

Mike looked at Will and into his eyes, identical to their daughter's. Dark brown until you see them in the light, and they light up, bright hazel green with flecks of gold in them.

"So?"

"Hazel." Mike says, beaming, and Will nods, tears in his eyes, his face glowing while he smiles. And Mike can't seem to turn his head away from him to face the nurse when he says;

"Her name is Hazel."
