Sorry if these parts might end up being short, I'm not really in a creative mood given my current shortage of personal romance.

[Aradia POV]

I welcomed the two of them inside. There was no point in making a scene in front of Karkat, he would think that I was flushed for Sollux. There was however a very uncomfortable silence that hung between all of us.

Sollux: So... let's start the tour then.

I was glad I wasn't forced to break the silence, but nobody else said a word as I opened the back door that led to the site. The two boys followed me a couple feet behind, walking right next to each other. I could hear them mumbling about something, but I chose not to listen. If they were fighting over me, I already made my choice...

[Krabsnack POV]

God I hated silences like that. Kudos to Sollux for having the bulgements to break it, but I quickly resented him for the brownie points he just earned with Aradia. She was infamous for her hatred of the quiet, she had said something before about she didn't like hearing the whispers, or something like that.

She opened the door and walked out in front of us. At first, I was walking right behind her, but Sollux grabbed my arm and pulled me next to him, and started whispering

Sollux: (back off a22hole.)
Karkat: (BACK OFF OF WHAT?)
Sollux: (her!)
Karkat: (WHY SHOULD I?)
Sollux: (becau2e 2he'2 miine!)
Karkat: (IT SURE DOESN'T LOOK LIKE IT.)
Sollux: (fiine. may the be2t troll wiin.)
Karkat: (WAIT WHAT THE HELL DOES THAT MEAN?)
Sollux: (competiitiion dumba22. you get her, you keep her. ii get her, ii keep her.)
Karkat: (YOU'RE ON.)

Asshole. If he was the cocky, narcissistic asshole I thought he was, why would he be worried about me? I would think that he'd be pretty confident, but the almost undetectable frown on his face showed otherwise. What happened between them?

I'm going for quanity over length, just so I don't give up on a project that I really want to finish. Sorry about that.
