You did what the human said, sit and wait.
But he was taking so long.
«sigh are humans this slow to clean up? My god..» You huffed in annoyance, tapping your fingers onto your wooden arm.
It's been a while, do humans clean that slow?
Finally, he came back into the studio with his hair slightly messy.
"Alright.. now, how are you-"
«magic.»
"Wh-"
«Its magic, I was a human like you once but then I sort of.. died. But now here I am living in a wooden body, living my life in an antique shop.»
You added as you stood up and twirl around and walked on tiptoes hopping on one object to another.«you are the first human I have ever interacted in all these years, so be grateful you get to witness something like this!» you pointed at him with a smug look on your face, Wally just stared at you processing all the information he has gotten so far.
"..so you won't kill me?"
«I don't think I can even do that.» you deadpanned.
You could hear him let out a silent sigh of relief, straightening his posture and and showed warm smile on his face.
"So.. I'm pretty sure you're gonna start living with me now?" He placed his hands on his hips, waiting for an answer.
«well, if you aren't planning on throwing me away yeah sure.»
You look at him dead in the eye as if you are trying to read his mind while doing so.
Ofcourse you don't, more like can't. But won't hurt to try and be intimidating, right?
Wally spoke once more, now in a calm voice. "Alright... So uh.. you can sleep in the studio? Yeah.. so here are the rules.." he paused to clear his throat, "1, Do not show yourself when there are visitors, I don't want them freaking out.. 2, please don't mess the house, and 3, just... Stay in one place..? Or just don't go anywhere where I can't see you." His gaze was serious, his voice now stern.
You were surprised by the sudden confidence of this human, perhaps they aren't that bad at all.
«Deal!» You chirped, a big grin on your face.
Wally looked like he was about to pass out.
«Human, you look like you're about to pass out!» You place a hand on your mouth and rushed near him, now by the edge of the desk.
"I didn't really have that much sleep last night so.."
«Sleep then!» you huffed.
"But I need to practice—"
«Sleep then practice whatever you are gonna do! If you're worried about me running away I can sleep too!» You scolded him with your finger pointed at him.
You and wally bickered for a while with the same topic but eventually Wally gave up and slept.
Boy, the bed never felt so comfortable in his life.
In the other hand, due to Wally's insistence, you had to sleep on one of his bookshelves. Ofcourse you were provided a soft cushion and a blanket (it's the size of a napkin.)
You watched as he went out like a light, snoring softly as he rested peacefully.
You remember watching children sleep as the huddled you closer back in the past, where you would make sure no monster can get them.
You smiled softly at the memory, you wonder if children's imagination are just as wild as before.
What year is it anyway?
Not that you care.
You laid down flat on your back, glassy eyes staring up at the ceiling.
A doll doesn't need rest, but a doll can 'sleep' just by going limp and do an out of body experience.
That's what you did, going limp but eyes never closed.
You felt yourself drifting away.
Then everything went dark.
Darker...
And darker....

."Hey, dont—!"
You woke up being held by a completely different human.
His skin is different colors, dark is the base but white spots splattered all over his body, it was a beautiful sight! He wore a top hat too, a red one and he had a cigar held between his lips, too!
Problem is, he held you too tight, way too tight!
"B-barnaby please be careful with it-"
"Don't worry kiddo, I'm being gentle." The man assured as he held the doll even tighter as he held them up.
You aren't!
You wanted to get away, but Wally's rules echoed in your head.
If he doesn't want me to get away in one spot, that means I shouldn't move, right?!
The big man, whose name is Barnaby, played with your arms by doing a twist and pull.
Sure it doesn't hurt since basically you're a doll but, man it was uncomfortable!
You stayed limp, not making a move but your glassy eyes moving and staring towards wally, begging to be released.
Wally tried to ask Barnaby to give the doll back, finally he did.
Wally sighed in relief and looked at the doll in his hands, who is now crying in joy.
Thank you!
Wally in the underhand misunderstood and thought they were in pain.
"B-barnaby I'll be back real quick!"
He took off upstairs back into his studio.
Barnaby let out a puff of smoke as he chuckled softly, but he couldn't help but notice that the dolls fingers were twitching when he handed the doll back to his friend.
Perhaps it was just his imagination.

Question:
