CHAPTER 1 | A WOUND THAT WILL NEVER HEAL

mephone felt dizzy, his entire body hurts especially his head but something else felt wrong he suddenly felt a sense of dread. he slowly woke up it hurted so much, he couldn't open his right eye.

he opened his left eye luckily it can still open and everything was bright, he blinked for a few moments til he could fully see, he looked around he wasn't in the cabin thats weird.

"wh..where am i..?" mephone mumbled "oh my god- mephone!" a familiar voice said as they immediately helped mephone sit up. mephone looked at the person and realized its oj

"oj..? where are we?.." mephone asked as oj held his husband hand

"were in your house, not the cabin one on the season three island" mephone looked at him confused before he could ask why a sudden painful headache made its presence known.

"god my head hurts.. did i hit my head or something?" mephone grunted it felt like a constant stinging on his head it hurted

he felt like something else was wrong too but the headache was too much to acknowledge it. oj went silent for a moment he couldn't tell if he should tell what happened or lie but it was best to lie for now

"you tripped and hit your head on the ground when we were.. uh- leaving the island" oj lied

"but! you're doing fine now you just need some rest" oj quickly reassured his husband before mephone could ask any more questions.

it felt weird really mephone had a gut feeling that something was wrong

he tried remembering what happened but there was none, if they were leaving the island surely he could have remember it if he just hit his head right? it probably wasn't that bad.

before mephone could think any further to try and remember a knock came from the door as 3gs walked in.

mephone felt a sense of dread seeing his older brother come in with a look he unfortunately knows all too well

that same look. the very same look mephone noticed 3gs would wear when he's about to announce bad news

very. very bad news.

mephone remembers being a child with his twin 4s, 3gs being their older brother who would take care of them and sometimes even protect them from their creator.

mephone remembers the first time he saw 3gs with that face. that expression.

when mephone got punished and locked him in a dark dusty old closet over because he wasn't able to satisfy his creators with the results of his training

it happened many times to the fact whenever 3gs enters the room him and his brother shared

mephone would immediately stands up and prepares himself to get locked in that horrid room for days sometimes a week to the fact he ended up getting paranoid over getting locked in such a dark dark place.

it happened with 4s too, sometimes, mephone doesn't know the reason why 4s never told him even if mephone asked him

4s would come back into the room holding back tears and with bruises all over his arms that he excused as "a training accident" it happened too many times to be some simple training accident

the last time mephone saw 3gs with that face, was the last time he ever saw his older brother for years. both mephone & 4s memories of their older brother 3gs got removed by their creator to prevent them from asking him what happened to their older brother

mephone was glad when the contestants went up to the meeple headquarters to get his battery in order to recharge him back to life and due to that they even accidentally stumbled upon 3gs and their younger brother mepad and took them both back to mephone thanks to 4s who suggested to bring the two back with them without raising suspensions and questions from the contestants.
