Soon after, it was time to leave.

You see, as apart of the curse option he chose, Meliodas can't stay in his home and area as consistently as he used to. For most of the time, for two human years, he has to live in one of the goblin towns. Meliodas gulps when Ban picks him up and places him on his shoulder. Elizabeth only got to say goodbye to him for a moment before her husband disappears for good. The moment the front door of their suite closes is when Tristian lets out a cry, signaling that he is now awake.

Meliodas winces a bit as he hears his son, though faintly due to the growing distance between him and the door of his home. Ban briefly glances at him and smiles, "It's going to be okay, cap'n! It will be over before you know it. So for now, just survive and stay optimistic or something." Meliodas purses his lips, "I will try...just get me there quick, Ban. I don't want to keep looking at my door anymore or else I won't be able to go through with this..." He whispers as he closes his eyes, one tear...two tears. Then dryness came back.

He can't wallow in sadness and fear, like Ban said, this torture will be over soon. 'I can do this!' Meliodas thought determinedly as the wind crashes against his face. Soon enough, Ban does as Meliodas says and they got to a little town called Restorya(pronounced as Restore-Yah). Ban glances back at Meliodas again. "Understandably, the goblins are distrustful of anyone who is or looks like a human. So, I will act as some sort of mercenary who had a change of heart and decided to return a goblin they kidnapped for one hundred fifty thousand pieces of gold. Your name is Elixir Ashera, who is shy, a wimp, and not too sociable. Got it cap'n?" He asks at the end.

Meliodas nods his head and takes a deep breath, getting himself into acting mode. Ban kneels down on one knee and knocks on a small, silver gate a few times with just a knuckle or two. A few silent minutes passed before a light gray goblin hobbles over on the other side. "What is your business here?" They ask sharply.

Ban smirks, "Well, I kidnapped one of your own a long time ago for some slave work and profit. Buuuuut, he has proven to be useless so I'm returning him back. That one fifty thousand pieces of gold would never worth the amount of headaches I had to deal with this one. So, open up that gate and-" The gate is immediately opened and the goblin glares at Ban and growls viciously.

"Where are they? Throw them in!" The goblin roars out.

Ban shrugs and grabs Meliodas clinging to the back of the collar of his shirt, throwing him inside the gate, turning away to walk away while whistling. The goblin quickly closes and locks the gate before turning around to face Meliodas. They start to walk closer to check on him until they lock eyes with the color of Meliodas' goblin skin. Which made them freeze.

"Uh...never mind! I don't want to be associated with you, bye!" The goblin runs away towards a forest nearby. Meliodas blinks in confusion, not understanding the change of heart from the goblin. But he just shrugs it off and stands up, taking a good look around his new home for the next two years.

He slowly moves one foot in front of the other, repeating the action until he finally gets a good footing and feels comfortable to walk normally. He walks towards a bush with fruit growing on it. He sees a variety of berries and his stomach suddenly growls. He wraps his arms around his stomach area and leans forward and a little down, feeling embarrassed by the noise.

"How long has it been since I last ate? Maybe I should've brought some food with me on the way here..." He whispers to himself. Usually he would listen to Elizabeth's advice to be mindful of berries straight from the plant. But right now he is too hungry to care. Meliodas immediately runs towards the bush and starts plucking the berries and plopping them in his mouth to eat.

His cheeks start to slightly swell due to an overload of cherries in his mouth. Suddenly, he feels a hand place on his shoulder. He freezes for a second before jumping away, sharply turning around. His frightened eyes soon met curious ones. He slowly chews and swallows the cherries in his mouth as he continues to stare at the other set of eyes. Turns out, it's a dark gray goblin like himself.

They, or rather he, ties his black hair in a ponytail before speaking to Meliodas. "I thought I heard someone here, turns out it's just you. I don't think we met before. What's your name? Mine is Izai Michi." Meliodas looks to the side and sheepishly rubs the back of his neck before answering Izai, "My name is Elixir Ashera. It's nice to meet you, Izai. I was recently brought back by one of my captors. So I'm kinda out of the loop with everything...sorry." Izai's face was blank as he points to the corner of his mouth. Meliodas was confused at first but then realizes what Izai means. His cheeks grow darker than his goblin skin tone, feeling very embarrassed.

He rubs the faint juices of the cherries off his cheek and corner of his lips. "Thanks for letting me know, sorry for that." Izai waves it off and tilts his head slightly to the side, observing Meliodas closely. "Say Elixir...not sure if it's my place to say this but you look pretty alright for someone who was returned from being kidnapped. Not many of our kind make it and if they do, they almost never look good. You have been enslaved during your capture, right?" Meliodas frowns but slowly nods his head. Izai gives a slight humorless smirk and leans his face slightly closer to Meliodas' face.

"Well buddy, one thing you should know is that you and me...are still slaves here." He moves his face away and starts to walk away from the gate, saying that he will show 'Elixir' around.

He looks back briefly and smiles, "Welcome back...I guess."
