Chapter 1 ~ hello nevermore

Wednesday pov

"Wednesday, come my spider you have to go now" I heard my mother calling me to come down stairs and go to nevermore..even though I am not late,she said that because she want to say goodbye bye to me and do all the useless emotions things, I look at my phone that Xavier gave to me..I really don't get why all people spend their time with this thing? Anyway the clock said it's 6:47Am..I went down stairs and saw my parents and my brother waiting for me..as usual my dad got emotional when he saw me he try to hug me but I stepped back

"Another year in nevermore,I'm really proud of you darling" my mother said smiling at me

"My little spider growing up so fast" dad said sniffing,I sighed and said 

"Please don't do anything emotional ,it's disgusting me" then dad wiped his tears and said

"You have to go my little one, and be careful at school" before neither of them continue to speak I head off to the car and the car stared moving 

I was still thinking about that person who sent to me that day in the vacation, I need to know what is he planning to.

"UGH!..why isn't this stupid door open!?" My thoughts been interrupted by a female voice who's sounds angry..I take a look from the window and see a woman has a long black hair, and she wasn't a student because she looks too old to be a student, the car stopped in front the big door and the door opened automatically, the woman stepped back with her black eyes getting wide

"What?! Seriously! I need a car to open the door?!.." she shouted at the door, then she glanced at me,when my eyes met hers,I felt like I know her? But I never seen her in my whole life! Who is she? And what is she doing here? I get down from the car with my bags, and walked to the school ignoring the woman

"Hey!, you" the woman ran to catch me, she walked with me on the way, 

"I would rather to be alone before anyone come to annoy me" I said not looking at her

"Take it easy girl,it's not look like I am gonna bite you or something" she said.I only sighed while continue walking to my room

"Want me to help you carrying your bags?"  The woman offered

"I didn't ask you to"

"And who said I will wait for you to ask?,oh my gosh I'm trying to be polite" she said 

"No one asked you for it!" I said while I get to my room

"Ugh! At least tell me where's the principal office?" 

"A door written on it 'the principal office'" that what I said before slamming the door in her face

"WOW..thanks for your help!" She said with a fake happiness

(Skip to where all the students has arrived)

"Oh Wednesday i can't believe we returned I missed you so much!" Enid said with a big smile! What's wrong with the emotions thing? The she opened her arms, I just looked at her with a blank face

"Oh,right..not a hugger" she said lowering her arms and looking at the ground,then we heard a woman voice coming from the speakers,not that woman I met today 

"Please,from all the student to come out side in five minutes" 

"Oh i guess it's our new principal" Enid said, I crossed my arms around my chest and went out side with Enid.

We sat at the table with Enid, Xavier, Eugene,Bianca and Ajax..the principal was standing on the stage then she speaks

"Welcome everybody to nevermore,my name is Karen Wilson and I am the new principal of this school, I hope we enjoy this year without any trouble..and I wanted to say something important" she looked around looking for some one then she mumbled "where is she?" But we heard her from the microphone

"Looking for Me?" We turned to the voice,and I saw her..the same woman from the in front door..

"Ah Lucy, come here my dear" the principal said and waving to her to come on the stage..

"Wow!..she look dangerous" Ajax said 

"And scary" Eugene said with a shaking voice

"Collins!..no way!" Xavier said with wide eyes,I turned to him quickly and asked him "you know her" Xavier glanced at Lucy then looking at me "she was my bodyguard that my father hired her for me,she is so strong and know how to fight with sword..she's a vampire" I looked at him amazed, 

"Why we never seen her before?" Ajax asked 

"She was my bodyguard for 2 years before I get to nevermore, but she quit from the job"

"Why?" Enid asked 

" I don't know..I didn't get along with her..I hated her in the first months, she was so complicated ,she didn't let me do anything unless I gave a good reason" Xavier while he was looking at Lucy

"Everyone..this is Lucy..Lucy collins..she is a vampire and she will be the guard of the academy..be good with her" the principal said before she head off from the stage and behind her Lucy..who went to set with the other vampires, I stand up from my seat and went to her

"You are a vampire!" I said glaring at her

"Ah..so?" 

"You can get inside the school without using the door!"

"Ah..I see" she said standing from her seat looking at me smirking. " I know but I wasn't in the mood to use my power" she said crossing her arms around her chest "and I didn't get your name yet"

"Wednesday..Wednesday Addams" the woman now is shocked!..why? Then she cleared her throat and said with a low voice " I will remember it" then leave me standing there 

I saw my friends coming to me..Enid asked me while looking at Lucy going away 

"So..what happened?"

I smirk still looking at Lucy's way

" nothing..but I guess I'm going to enjoy it this year" 

"Be careful Wednesday, you don't want to miss with Lucy..she is the strongest vampire I ever seen" Xavier warned I looked at him still smirking

"That will make it more exciting"
