Raine's POV
I sat by an open window reading an old poetry book Jolly gave me when he found me as a child, though I had memorised it I still read it. "Mistress, you should talk to those around you, enjoy the party. Papa only turns 59 once you know!" I lazily wave Luca away, "I have no time for this. Parties are irrelevant and unneeded, they only serve as a reminder of a year closer to death." Luca's face drained of all colour from his face, "now leave Luca, I have no need to talk with you." "Aww Raine! You shouldn't be so mean to Luca! He is only trying to be your friend!" Vic called out from across the room, "my god, can I not be left alone for christ sake." I snap my book shut before walking away from the small group of people that had once surrounded me.
vic's POV
as i was about to go after Raine papa had came in and it was to late for me to get to her but Debito step on my stupid long dress witch caused me to start falling over but debito had grab me by my wrist and lifted me up before hitting the ground and then whisper only so i could hear "leave her for now u must stay poco sis" so stayed even tho i so badly wanted to go after my only real friend, she isnt my friend just cause of my stupid card queen of whatever god i hate that card so much sometimes and she doesn't treat me differently like everyone else. as i was thinking about why Raine is like this papa stared talking but I payed no attention till I heard Raine, Felicita and my name and about how one of us will replace mama and how one I the men will replace papa once they pass away so I ran start out of there to find Raine to tell her the bad news
Raine POV
As I was jus sitting down near the fountain reading my book in peace for once I heard that dam scream calling my name I don't understand why that stupid girl wants to be near me all the time dose she not understand that we're not friends and as I looked up a again I saw her leaping in to me and I was to late to doge and as she landed on me we both fell back in to the water now I was anger wait sorry that was a understatement I'm pi$$ed now "WHAT THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOUR DOING WERE ALL WET NOW YOU REALLY ARE A MORON YOU KNOW THAT I CANT BELIEVE YOU SOMETIMES.." As I keep going on she just shoved me back down in to the water "oh shut up I have bad news who cares if were wet" Vic said and as I came back up "wait what is this bad news" I said ten her face changed to a bit scared (probably to how I will react to this bad news) and upset but he toke a Depp breath and said "papaismakingallofusegirlsfightandwhoevewinswillbecomethenewmamaandthemenwillfightandwhoeverwinsoutofthemwillbecomethenewpapa" I put my head down what and idiot " I did not understand anything you just said can you repeat that just much slower" I said " oh sorry about that sure thing" Vic said " p a p a i s m a k I n g " I stopped her right there " not that slow u moron" I said " oh sorry papa is making all of use girls fight and whoever wins will become the new mama and the men will fight and who ever wins out of them will become the new papa" she said after what I heard I got up and went back to where papa and mama and everyone else will be Vic grabbed on to my top and said " where are you going" "back to papa and sorting this out" I replied and then I left soaking wet >:/
Vic POV
I just sat in the water I wish this wasn't happing and as I was waiting for Raine to get back liberta had come out instead and gave me a funny look " what in the names of god are you doing in the water you will catch a cold come on I help u up" I just stayed quite and give him my hand I also had the reediest cheeks ever he finally noticed me and he cares about my health I'm so happy I thought but as soon as I got out of the water I was so cold and I couldn't really move so liberta toke a deep breath and said " common get on my back I'll carry u to your room" still staying quite I did as he said a got on his back but as soon as I got on it I feel right to sleep
liberta POV
I don't know Vic so well I was always shy around her never knowing what I say but I'm Glad I got the guts to help her wait where am I going I don't even know where her room is god this is not good I guess I will just take her to my room so I walked to my room and once we got there and laid her down on my bed I realised she will get sick if e sleeps in wet cloths but I can't take them off or could I wait no no I won't I know I'll get one of the maids that I trust to keep a secret cause if debto found out he would kill me for sure so I found Lucy and I gave her some of my cloths and she went to my room an changed her fe me while I waited out side when she was done I went in and looked at her she looks like an angle wen she sleeps I sat down by the bed and just put some blanks on her and kissed her head and as I was going to leave she graves me by the shirt " please don't go I don't want to be alone again please stay" I shouldn't stay but once she said that I couldn't help myself so I curled I to bed with her and she just hugged me so tight she must not be having a good dream I wonder why she is the way she is I hope one day I get to know everything about her she's just so cute and adorable but also so badass so I kissed her head " sweet dreams" and fell asleep
