Eight

Ten years have passed since the last ghostface killings. Dewey and Gale divorced, and Tatum had to decide which of her parents to live with, so she was now living with Dewey and hadn't seen her mother in many years.

As her father went to get a cup of coffee for each of them, Tatum smiled at him. They would drink coffee and watch Gale together in the morning. Tatum disliked watching Gale since she hadn't seen her in a long time and because she believed that her father should be ready to move on but wasnt. Dewey would watch Gale alone in the mornings when Tatum was at school, although Tatum occasionally arrived late so she could sit with her father and watch her mother on the tv. Last night there had been a ghostface attack so Tatum stayed with her father to watch Gale before she went to school to see her friends.

"Hi Tatum. Have you heard about Tara?" Amber looked at Tatum with a faint smile on her face hoping to not upset her in case she knew that Tara had been attacked by someone in a ghostface mask. Everyone knew that ghostface was a touchy subject with Tatum because of what happened when she was just 8 years old.
"Yeah. How's she doing?" Tatum made an effort to grin, but she was unable to. She was reminded of what happened years ago.
"Shes asleep at the minute but shes in pretty rough shape" Amber took a moment to glance at the ground before looking up to face Tatum.
"That was Sam" Wes put his phone back in his pocket and smiled at Tatum before turning to face Amber, and Mindy.
"Shes coming?" Wes received a menacing glare from Amber. Everyone was aware that Amber was oddly protective of Tara around Sam.
"Yeah" Wes nodded before turning to face Tatum. He wasn't sure if telling Sam was the right move, but Tatum offered him a comforting glance.
"Watch everything get worse" Rolling her eyes, Amber turned to face Tatum.
"With everything thats going on right now, i think we should take our realtionship to the next most intimate level" Chad said as he and Liv walked over with their arms around each other.  Chad gave his girlfriend a smile as they sat down.
"He wants me to accept his FindMyFam request" Turning to face the others, Liv smiled.
"Its the smartest option with a killer on the loose. You know exactly where i am and i know exactly where you are" Before turning to face the others in the hopes that they would support him, Chad smiled at his girlfriend. Everyone looked at each other and decided to stay out of Liv and Chad's conversation
"Awww you want to stalk me like a jealous boyfriend?" Liv made the comment while obviously making fun of Chad for wanting her to accept his request.
"You can stalk me like a jealous boyfriend" Chad smiled but alive just rolled her eyes.
"you two are so weird" Tatum giggled a little and smiled at Chad and Liv
"its because they arent having sex yet" Amber smiled at Tatum
"you bring up a very good point." Chad pointed at Amber and then looked at Liv who rolled her eyes
"dont do it Liv. Theres a pyscho killer out there. Make yourself harder to find, delete social media, cover your phone camera, disable GPS" Wes looked at Tatum then at Liv
"yes. thank you very much Edward Snowdon. Actually your mother just interogated me about Taras attempted murder which was very fun" Chad glanced at Judy Hicks and Tatum rolled her eyes
"i'm sure shes asking everybody. i mean ghostface is back" Wes glanced at Tatum hoping not to upset her
"the press still isnt saying ghostface" Amber pointed out. Even though everyone knew that it was ghostface the press still weren't calling the killer "ghostface"
