Hayley left the room again, everyone looking at her. "He isn't hiding anything, just leave it. If he is hiding something bad and I told you otherwise, blame me for what happens other than that leave it alone," Hayley said firmly.

The Mikealson knew one thing for sure is that when Hayley had something to say and when it came to Klaus she was mostly right half the time so they let it slide for a couple of days.

"Hey Elijah," said Freya, she looked a little worried and Elijah knew it had to be Niklaus. "What is it, sister?" He said, knowing the answer but still needing to hear it. "Klaus left this morning and hasn't returned. I went to check his room but it was locked. I tried to use a spell to open it but it seems guarded with black magic or a dark object." Freya said to Elijah in a panic.

"Get Hayley, she said he wasn't hiding anything and now I'm not sure so get her we need a talk," Elijah demanded. Freya went to search for Hayley who was with Hope talking about their favorite show and wolves.

They were like best friends even though they were mother and daughter. "Hayley, Klaus is definitely up to something," Freya said in the doorway, "come" she left out the doorway, Hayley followed behind her and soon Hope came as well.

They all were in the courtyard again, discussing whether Klaus was innocent or not. Klaus walked into the gate, quickly vamped to his room, and went inside.

Elijah is right behind him, and Freya coming up the stairs. "Niklaus! Open the door right now," Elijah yelled. "What is it, brother?" Klaus asked, he peeked out the slightly cracked door. "What are you hiding? Tell me now!" Elijah demanded and he was furious.

His vampire's eyes slowly came out, veins beneath his blood-filled eyes. "For god's sake, I'm hiding nothing!" Klaus yelled, everyone knew he was the paranoid one so to be accused of something made it ten times worse. "Niklaus I have known you for a thousand years and I have waited for your redemption, I thought that now Hope was here you would have changed but you haven't," Elijah said, words flew out of his mouth, words he didn't even mean.

Hayley looked into both of their eyes as she walked up the stairs slowly. The rage in Elijah's dark brown eyes and the pain in Klaus' deep blue-green eyes.

She couldn't help but feel hurt for him, she needed to know what was going on with him. Rebekah was down in the courtyard when a package appeared at the front gate of the compound. She opened the gate and lifted the box into her hands, she read the name on the label of the package.

It read out "Klaus Mikealson". She knew she shouldn't invade his privacy but she opened the package anyway, she looked through everything and she was in shock.

He wasn't doing anything bad, he was just being a good father and a good partner to Hayley. Elijah was still yelling at Niklaus and Klaus just kept quiet he didn't yell back he kept quiet and from the look that Hayley was giving off you could tell something was wrong with Klaus.

Hayley could read straight through Klaus and so the look she was giving proved that Klaus was hurt. "Elijah stop! Nik isn't doing anything wrong," Rebekah said vamping to them, she looked into Elijah's eyes and Elijah knew then that Klaus wasn't hiding anything bad.

"Here Nik, a package for you," Rebekah said handing him the package. He took it into his hands and looked at her then Elijah. "Niklaus I'm so sorry-" Elijah started but Klaus just shut the door. Everyone cleared away from the hallway, but Hayley stayed. She walked closer to his door and listened she could hear things rip and his anger being portrayed into things in the room. She turned the handle of the door, it wasn't locked.

She pushed through the door, he turned to her the anger and pain in his eyes softened at the sight of her. "What is it?" He said, in a low voice.

"Are you okay?" She asked him. "Do I seem okay Hayley? My brother won't ever trust me, I have tried to change my ways for Hope, them, and you..." he said turning away.

Hayley walked closer to him, her head rested on his back. He turned around, her head now buried into his chest, her arms wrapped around his body pulling him into a tight hug. He wrapped his arms around her body, returning the hug.

After a couple of hours, Klaus opened his package, cutting, gluing, and writing. He had tied the bows nicely, he stepped back to look at what he had done. He could hear the giggles of Andrea, Nick, Rose, Anthony, Jack, and Ellie.

The footsteps of each and another, Hope's footsteps, she was chasing the kids around the compound and into the courtyard. "Tag you're it," Hope said, slowing her running. "Aw, can you please do it again?" said Rose, she was used to getting her way; just like her mother. "Fine," Hope said and started to run after the kids again.

Elijah and Kol were in the courtyard as the kids ran around them, Hayley and Davina entered the room.

"Evening ladies," Elijah said, looking over to the two women. "Evening Elijah," both Hayley and Davina said in unison. "What brings you two down here?" Kol asked, turning around on the couch he was seated at.

"We should talk about Klaus," said Davina, looking at Hayley who then nodded, and then she looked at Elijah and Kol. "What about me? Little witch," Klaus said coming down the stairs, he seemed in a better mood than earlier.

"Oh nothing," Davina said, surprised Klaus was even out of his room. "Okay then," he said with a smirk heading to the kitchen where Marcel was seated drinking a blood bag. "Hello Marcellus," Klaus said, taking a seat next to Marcel. "Yes, Klaus?" Marcel said, looking at Klaus. "Oh I don't need anything, just a simple hello that's all," Klaus said with a smirk, grabbing a blood bag and walking away.

"I see he's in a good mood, what did you do Hayley," said Marcel, walking into the courtyard once he was out of Klaus' sight. "Nothing, maybe he just is happy that you guys believe he's not hiding anything," Hayley replied, looking at Marcel with a slight glare at Elijah. "I highly doubt you did nothing, but I'll roll with that," Kol said looking at Hayley.
