     I think Pete's parents force him to do things he doesn't want to do. There's a party going on right now, and I'm here because I have to steal something. I'm here to steal some codes and maybe a piece of that cake. I'm not one for sweets. I just want some of that fruit cake because it looks soo good.

     I regain my focus and continue to crawl through the vents. It's really tight here, but I need to get this, or I wouldn't have a safe house. The code I'm trying to steal is a very advanced code that allows someone the ability to hide where they live and what's on their property. I need this code because I'll have plants on my property and need to hide them from any drones that may serve the land. It can also be hacked through a direct source, so I can only download and delete the code by accessing the quantum computer that stores it.

     Finally, I opened the vent gate blocking me from the computer. I hate the vents in this house. They are tiny and have many sharp turns. I know they don't want people going through the vent and don't have people going through the vents, but, why not let the air have a better path. Yes, the air does happen to be called Nicky Vagela Trumans, and her path happened to lead her to a quantum computer with a unique code, but, think about it.

     Sitting in the chair, I was about to start typing when I heard voices in the hall. They sound like two people arguing. I was going to ignore them when I heard them getting closes. Not wanting to get caught, I climbed back up to the vent.

     When the gate to the vent closed, the door to the room busted open, and in walked a man who I recognized as Pete's dad from when he picked him up. Pete was also with him. Why were they yelling?

     They were over by the computer, and looked like they were downloading something. They were arguing the whole time. When they left, I got what I needed and had a feeling to check what they had downloaded. When I checked, I felt my heart stop. They downloaded the same code I came here for. Fuuuck, I just wanted this to be easy. I still had two more planets this month.

     I had to get Kalamata Olives and Aesculus Hippocastanum from Greece. More specifically, I had to get Kalamata Olives from the Garden of the Hesperides and Aesculus in the middle of October. The Garden of the Hesperides is also where Medusa and her two sisters live.

     But right now, I have to figure out who has that code and take it from them. I have to do this because this code can also tell when it's being used, and the code loses all of its purposes.

      I hopped back into the vent and slid my way through them. I went to Pete's dad first, Sebastian. He was walking into a different room. So I followed him in the vents. He was with his wife, Mary, I think. I hope they are just trying to have a private conversation and not what I think they are going to do.

      They are doing what I thought they were, disgusting. But now I know he doesn't have the disk. That means I must wear a dress and go hang out with Pete. I absolutely despise dresses. But I have to because this is the type of party where if you don't wear a dress, you stand out like a sore thumb. Just need to find a dress.

     I'm going to kill someone. I changed my clothes around so my cloak was around my waist like a skirt, and the belt I placed my weapons on was around my waist, covering the seam between my shirt and make-shift skirt. It looked like a pure black dress and matched the dress code as I saw someone wearing the same dress.

     Walking out to the party, I started looking for Pete when I found him by the drinks and food. Looks like I don't need to steal some cake. As I walked over to Pete, I moved my hand to touch my keypad. I had put it in a place where I could type on it without it looking weird.
