As he dozed off in his seat at the back of the bus, he was abruptly awaken by a little commotion up ahead. Rubbing his eyes sleepily, he squinted to get a better look at what was happening.
In the distance, he could see a girl who appeared to be in distress. She wore a uniform that he recognized as belonging to the same school he attended, but he couldn't quite make out her features from where he sat. Her short hair was a light beige color, and she had striking eyes that seemed to be a gradient crimson shade.
The girl was talking to a boy who was also dressed in the same school uniform. He smirks as he ignores her, but she continues to shake with panic.
He wondered if he should intervene or if it was better to stay out of it. After all, he was still new to the outside world, and he didn't know if he was ready for any kind of confrontation. But as he watches the girl, she seems to try and convince the boy to give up his seat for the old woman to sit on. The girl seems rather sad, though if you're more observant her eyes tell a different story.
She then turns to the other passengers on the bus and gives them all a pleading look, before walking forward.
"Excuse me, would any of you be willing to give up your seat?" she asked, but there was no response. Some people hesitated, while others completely ignored her.
The boy looked around. That's when he noticed a girl with long black hair, tied back in a braid with a pink bow, and gradient red eyes. She was engrossed in a book, but her gaze met him for a brief moment before she gave him a little glare and returned to her reading...
He sits there emotionless, looking at the girl with no interest, but he sighs and lifts his hand. The girl notices him and her face lights up a little, but the boy doesn't say anything and simply gets up from his seat and motions to the old lady to take it. He then walks over to a straphanger and stays there as if nothing had happened.
He thought he could finally have some peace now that the matter was resolved, but someone abruptly tapped on his arm, making him turn to find the girl who had pleaded with someone to give them their seat away, who seemed very joyful and smiled widely at him before opening her mouth..
"Thank you so much for giving up your seat!" She said, rather energetically.
He takes his eyes off the window and looks at her, he stares at her for abit before sighing.
"It's okay, you don't have to thank me"
his voice was very deep and monotone, yet a little hint of gentleness in it. The girl jumps a little when she first heard his voice, she was taken back and couldn't response for minutes. The boy wasn't even staring at her anymore as she was still staring at him in awe, she wasn't flustered nor blushing but she just froze at the tone of his voice....who knew a boys voice can get someone frozen up..
