(Sportacus x Stephanie)You Belong with Me, Here and Forever

Chapter 6

After the party, Stephanie went to the Lazy Town park and waited for Sportacus as instructed. She was playing with her rings until she felt someone's lips on her ear.

"Ready for the surprise?".

She turned around and saw Sportacus wearing his superhero suit with his hand outstretched. He changed for the occasion?, she asked herself. She reached for his hand and was rapidly pulled towards Sportacus, chest to chest.

"Alright then. Close you eyes", he asked. Once closed, she felt a cold breeze on her face. She felt safe in Sportacus' arms so she had nothing to her. Sportacus then put on a blindfold over her eyes.

"What is it?", Stephanie asked.

"You'll see", he answered. He lead Stephanie into his airship, making sure she didn't fall over. After a moment, he took off the blindfold and whispered, "Open them". Stephanie opened her eyes and saw the airship's roof full of lights that looked like stars and a table full of sports candy.

"I realized that you didn't eat any at the party. And I wanted to give you the best birthday present a woman like you deserves".

He moved closer to Stephanie, noticing the height difference. He moved his hand around her waist while his other hand cupped her cheek. His lips lowered to hers and crashed in a desperate kiss. He longed for the day that he got to kiss Stephanie Meanswell for the first time, but he never imagined it would be this good. She responded to him, deepening the kiss, moving her hands to his face.

Feeling the need to breathe, they pulled apart resting their foreheads on each other. Stephanie wanted to think it was a dream while Sportacus prayed for it to be real. 

"You're a good kisser", said Stephanie.

"You too. I've waited for so long. You have no idea how crazy in love I've been. With you. And only you", he said before kissing her again. Stephanie felt tears coming out so she stopped Sportacus and back away.

"Stephanie, what happened?", asked Sportacus.

"Oh Sportacus. I have always loved you. At first I thought it was an innocent crush. But then time passed by and you made me feel so many things at the same time. I can't even explain it. I want you. I need you. But it hurts me that I have to leave for college and that I broke your heart with my-"

"Love, it's fine. Uncle Milford told me about it yesterday. I heard you scream so I rushed over as soon as I could and then I asked him what happened and that's when he told me about it. I'm happy for you. It hurts me that you'll eventually leave, but I want the spend every single day, hour, minute, and second with you because you, Stephanie Meanswell, are worth it. You are the reason why I came to Lazy Town and the reason why I never left".

She stopped crying and proceeded to lean against the wall, processing Sportacus' words. He loved her enough to stay and to be part of her life. Sportacus approached her until he was an inch away from her lips. Stephanie stiffed and close her eyes, but instead he clean her tears with his fingers. She didn't apply a lot of mascara so it wasn't ruined. 

Then, she heard Sportacus' voice say, "Belong to me. Stay with me. Please, my rose".
