the bell to end first period finally went and you hurried out of the classroom towards the vending machine - you and suna's designated quick meeting spot since as long as you could remember.
you wanted to pretend to be annoyed at him for making you rush here right before the next period but you couldn't stop the smile from reaching your eyes when you saw your him standing up ahead in the shirt you got him for his last birthday.
and as per usual, he made the vending machine look so short.
you couldn't lie, that boy was fine as fawk.
you crept up behind him.
"BOO"
suna turned around without so much as flinching, glancing down at you with an amused smirk.
"nice one."
"shut up."
"no, seriously, y/n look - i'm so scared i'm shaking."
he held out a perfectly steady hand which you slapped away.
"freak. what am i doing here again?" you sighed, crossing your arms over your chest.
his expression lit up at the reminder.
"i got you something."
he rummaged around his backpack before pulling something out and hiding it quickly behind his back before you could see, which only increased both your excitement and suspicion.
"close your eyes loser."
"come on-"
"girl just close your fuckin eyes"
you put your hands up in defeat and did as you were told. "yes sir."
"okay open them"
you gasped as he handed you a hello kitty keychain. it was genuinely the cutest thing you had ever seen.
"for you."
"rin that's so sweet what the fuck. thank you."
he then pulled out something else from his pocket.
"and this one's mine."
a spiderman keychain.
"OH MY GOSH."
"do you like them?" he asked. he was smiling but he looked a bit nervous.
"i LOVE them rin."
at your joy, suna felt his heart swell with happiness. when you were happy, so was he.
