I take a deep breath as I approach the huge building, am I really ready for this, everything is moving so fast suddenly. I feel my head spinning abit, I know I'm fine its just my anxiety kicking my ass but I got this. I take another deep breath as I push open the building doors and walk in, my eyes instantly start looking around seeing many many new faces of people I may or may not talk to. There are so many people here the halls are pact with faces I don't recognize. I quickly look around to see where the office might be, scanning all the signs soon my eyes land on one that looks closest to what I'd think is pointing twords the office. I make my way threw the people not really looking at them or making eye contact at all.
I push open the office door as I let out a sigh, the room for the most part is empty, the only people that seems to be around are a few students that I assume are new aswell and the office workers. I take a seat waiting for the lady behind the desk to be done talking to what I assume is a new student, she seems to be handing him a bunch of papers, God knows how many papers I'm gonna receive when it's my turn. After abit I watch the few people before me get there stuff and dissappear into the large over stuffed halls, one person stands at the desk taking there sweet time. two faces walk into the office and sit down, the two conversing between each other, one was the girl from this morning at the diner. I think her name was maè, and the guy from the store. His light milk chocolate skin was beautiful, his complexion was just perfect, his skin smooth, his cheeks have natural shading, and his loss everything suited him, he seemed to hide his eyes with his locs, and his septum percing. It was hard to lie the male was very attractive, but I'm no type to even try and fall for people. Dating is pointless everyone will end up hurt at one point, and I rather not get hurt at all. I hear whispering to my side, I put in my ear buds, I don't turn on any music I just listen.
" wait is that the new kid? I saw him today at my diner shift, I didn't work long but I did get an hour in, he's pretty cute don't ya think Jean? And look at that edgy lonely boy look he has going on so brooding like you!" The girl giggles staring at me, I can feel her eyes tracing every part of my body I move my arms over my lap as I lean more looking into my phone. Fuck this feels so uncomfortable. " maè you don't even know the guy, but he looks alrighty I guess? I don't really care he's got looks ill give you that, but for all we know he's an asswhole, well from what I've seen of him he's not" the darker male crossed his arms looking at her, You can here his sigh. I look up at the desk as the gid walks away with a huge stack if paper, struggling to leave the office. I pulled My headphones out and put them in my pocket along with my phone, I stand up grabbing my bag and walk up to the desk. On my way up I turned and looked at the two who were talking, they were staring at me like hawks to mice, I looked away and stepped up to the desk " name?" The bitchy desk lady asked pulling her glasses down to look at me.
" Felix sinclair" I look at her unfazed by her intimidation tactic. He types on her old computer, it's old but a beautiful, tye sound of the old keys typing away, creaking of the space bar, my eyes snap back up to her as she taps a few buttons and starts printing what seems like a packet of papers, She slides them to me. " pick a club and sign up, make it to class k". I look at her taking the papers " ya I'll look into it" I turn away and walk twords the office doors, I look at the two who are still staring and continue walking out. I flip some of the pages to look at the times of my classes, I flip a few more pages and start to find my way twords the study room. I fold the papers and slid it into my backpack.
"Hey new boy!!! Felix was it! Hey!" I stop in my tracks and turn tilting my head " yes?" Running after me was the two from the office maé and Jean " let us help you to the sign up for your clubs and study room, we're going there now so?" I look at them for a moment, it's all just odd " nah im good I'll find my way, thank you for the offer tho" I turn away walking down the hall leaving the two standing there, while the help would be nice, I'd rather not rush this whole collage thing so face, it's the first day and that girl is already so pushy, she give me weird vibes, I fell ill see her alot during my time here.
