It's really easy to abandon something that feels like it's not working out too well. It's even easier to pick something up from sudden bursts of inspiration. As a result of that, I find myself starting and abandoning new novels at a slightly concerning rate. That's the struggle of a creative. This story had another name before "Requiem" and some might know of that name, but that doesn't matter anymore. The story's changed. So has the name. Forged from phases of not working out too well and sudden bursts of inspiration, Requiem is, what I feel like, my best work. It is very much a work-in-progress, like everything else I do. I can only do my best and hope it becomes something as close to my vision of it as possible. It is an epic after all.
