I layed on the bed that seemed it felt forever.
I could never stay in one place without moving when I was a kid.

I remembered me getting in trouble for it too.

Memories invaded Janisha's mind.
Even harsh memories came...

FlashBack...

" Janisha!"

I giggled as I hear my dad yell at top of his lungs when he hears a thud that came from me.
I enjoyed running around in my room.
It was all I could do besides play with dolls.

But no I liked it when the boys played football in my neighbor's yard.
They would be covered in mud by the end of the game.

I would struggle breathing while laughing so much when the boys sometimes break some of the neighbors' windows.
They had fun.
They had 'real' fun...

I wanted that.
I hated that I was isolated in my own room.
I had it all but not the love that any normal parent would give their child.

I now believe that old saying...
"Money can't buy happiness."

And currently family is kicking me in the ass and picking right back up.
I hated being lonely yet loved.
How can that be?

*ALARM*

Taken out of my deep thought from the buzzing alarm.
I turn it off in frustration.
Then suddenly realization washes over me.

I have school today!
I didn't even no sleep whatsoever!
I was mentally cursing myself by then.

But I couldn't hold myself from getting ready.
Not having time.
I took another shower feeling dirty.

And after that I did my 'girly things'.
For what I decided was not to wear any makeup.

For clothes I wore a fitting white t-shirt,blue tied-dyed high waisted jeans, and a pair of white Shell Toes Adidas.

I wasn't ready for school mentally but other than that my physical body looks were.
I started to gain confidence in my weight and how I look more often.

Ever since that phone call with Jaydon and me.
It clearly got stuck in my mind and I thought I guess I can get boys to feel attracted to me.

I hurried downstairs wanting to put something in my growling stomach.
As I headed to the kitchen I grabbed two oranges and started peeling.

Oh damn totally forgot...

I ran back upstairs to wake up my grandma.

"Momo ,wake up."

"Alright...child."

I sighed and left the room and got the keys off the bakers racket.
By then I crank up the car and waited for my tired grandma in the front passenger seat.

It was already 7:20 and my grandma isn't in the car.
As I was buzzing off to sleep...

Janisha's grandma been looking for the damn keys for atleast hours she thought.
"Shit!"

The grandmother yelled putting up her wrinkly boned arms in the air.
Giving up...

She decided to go outside to tell her niece to look for the keys.
She's too old to even be looking for some keys that can't be found.

She knew damn well she put them keys on the bakers racket.
It's not like they got up and left this house.
She headed outside the door.

And once she saw the car cranked up and Janisha snoozing off having her head laid back.

Wrinkles formed more on her forehead than the cracks on her dried lips.
She was furious that she wasted time on her life.

"Janisha yo ass could've told yuh was gon have the car and everythang ready!"

Janisha woke up from her good sleep but still restless in her eyes.
She nodded not knowing why she's in trouble.

As her grandma got in the car slamming the door.

"Yuh gon clean dem fuckin dishes ya heard meh!"

"Mmmhm."

Janisha honestly didn't care what she was going to do she just wanted peace so she can sleep off the bags on her eyes.

Her grandma sped off and by a matter of seconds she was already there.
She tugged Janisha's arm to wake her up.

"Okay bye."

Janisha parted with her grandma in a raspy voice.
You could say she was a walking zombie.

Janisha headed in the school without budging to look at Jaydon.
Who was eyeing her body down enjoying every inch of her movement.

His pair of eyes not only made her uncomfortable but so did the other jealous looks and lustful ones as Jaydon's.

Since Janisha always had a good memory she remembered even the littlest things in her life.
She remembered digits long forgotten even names of faces she only met a short time.

You could say that was her gift for the world.
But it wasn't anything special of course.
As Janisha walked in the school she headed right to class.

Predictably being the first student there.
As soon as the bell ring students flooded the classroom until there was no seats vacant.
She watched Jaydon made his move to sit by her.

"Hey."

She mumbled not wanting to talk to him.
He only did a rude look and smirk that made her itch to make a hand print on him.

Throughout that day nothing but smart remarks came at her.
Like fat hoe,ugly bitch,and thot.
She decided to ignore every remark and anyone who talked to her.

Where is her so called protectors?

Fakes...

She wanted to do everything but not cry.
But she couldn't.
All she could do is cry.
She's weak...

All she thought was to wait the bell rang so she rush out the gate of hell.
So did it...

As she walked quickly out of school.
There was Jaydon moving his index finger back at her to come over where he is at...
