Chapter 4: Dinner Night

The elevator was so fast. For 30 seconds, I get in front of the dinner hall. There was pretty big, the whole dinner hall they decorated like England palace. I enter the hall.

Every girls look at me, I see other girls wearing different style of clothes. A waiter serving me a champagne, but I declined and get orange juice instead of champagne. I'm standing at the  

corner of the room, and look around. After a minute, two girls walking to me. Look so cute.

"Well, Hello!" one of them agreed. She smiled a bit to me and wearing pink dress with all pink accessories. 

"Hi! I'm Rachel." I said, "What about you?" I continued. 

"Well, I'm Aya?Me, Julia." They replied to me. Julia's look so cute with light purple on her dress. She's wearing white necklace, purple earrings, and purple bracelets. 

"Nice to see you! I'm interested in you since you walked on the field." Said Aya. 

"Thanks! It's true, I'm not gorgeous so I just smile a bit while I walking on the field." I said. 

"Wow! I thought you're in Crystal room!" said Julia. She looks at me so strange. 

"Why you know that?" I surprised. 

"Your style shows me like that!" said Aya. She gives me a chocolate that she has been picking up from the waiter. 

"I got it so you're in Pink room and you're in Purple room!" I give a big smile. 

"Light Purple," Said Julia, "Now, I invite you to our table," She said and dragged my hand to their table. I feel freezing while I enter the centre of the hall. No one wearing the same as me.

I get the table, a girl sitting at the table and talking to other table is wearing red dress with red accessories. 

"Hey! Amy. We've got new friend," Said Julia and look at me. The girls stopped talking and turn to look at me. Then she gives a big smile. 

"Hey, Welcome!" she said and accompanies me to sit down, "We're waiting you for a long time! I'm Amy," she said with happy voice. 

"Thanks you. I'm Rachel," I replied and took a sip of orange juice. 

"You're amazing!" said Amy. 

"I'm not amazing like you thought," I said and look at her. 

"You didn't know?" they said to me, I surprised. 

"Know about what?" I asked. 

"You're high scores right now! You're staying in Crystal room!" she said to me. I feel stranger when all girls look at me and 3 girls sitting around there are smiling back to me. 

"What?" I asked them, "I didn't do anything, why I got high scores?" A waiter serving me a chocolate ice cream with the Crystal glass. 

"I don't know, but only a girl can stay at the top of the others is Crystal room," Said Aya.

I surprised and wonder how can I get high scores than others? I never noticed that. I thought other girls would be get fantastic rooms than me and I'll be happy if I fail. Right now, important things that I must think is everyone is look at me so stranger than before.

I mentioned to the front of my table, 4 girls stared at me. I feel scare when I look at them. 

"Don't look at them!" said Julia, "They don't like you!" 

"Why?" I asked her. They stared at me. 

"You're Crystal girl. They jealous, you know!" said Julia. 

"She right!" said Amy. Then, I heard cheers, and claps hands in the hall. Everyone look at the stage in front of me. I knew, she is Paris Vindrop Scott. The Next's Elite Executive Director. She wearing the same dress I have seen her standing at the balcony of the building this evening. She smiles a bit to us. Her face shows that she confidence, dependent, and intelligent. My mind is still thinking of Aya, Amy, and Julia said. Are they right? Am I in the top one of them? Is it good if I stay at Crystal room?

"Well! The 60 contestants have been chosen," Said Paris. "I have something to say," she said. 

"We have 5 judges. Each judge has difference position," she said, "First, Mrs. Audrina Banks," she said. A woman sitting on the left smile a bit, she's wearing pink suit with white hair and a big pink flower on her head. It's look crazy, but neat, fashionable, and charming. "She will be giving you a point to your entire characteristic and will teach you how to be high class people," said Paris. Everyone claps hands. I do too. 

"Second, Ms. Alyson Blunt," a lady smile a bit to us. She has big eyes and black hair. Everyone scared her. She's wearing blue glitter long dress with a diamond ring. "You will be know her when 20 of you across the sixth part competition." She said. 

"Third, Ms. Caroline Whitely," A lady who sitting in the center of the table never gives any smile. She looks gorgeous with blond hair across her face. She dressing very well, black coat and white fur on her shoulders. "She will give you a point on tomorrow!" I think tomorrow the competition will begin. 

"Fourth, Mr. Steve Tucci," A man sitting at the right next to Ms. Caroline Whitely is shaved head. He smiles a bit and wearing black suit with a big blue flower on the right of his shirt. "He is fashion judge," She said. 

"The last one, Mr. Constance Narmora. You will meet him on tomorrow," she said. "Well! Now all judges have been introducing. I have one more special gift for a girl." She said and then picks up a big white box with a big letter on the top. "This is a big gift for special girl, but I'm not telling you who it is," she said and hand a big box to a gentleman and then he leave the hall.

"One of you will be getting this gift, it on your living room table," She said. "Well! Now begin your dinner!" she finished, and walking out of the hall. For this moment, the waiters are serving the foods for every table. I look at the table, Savory Fruits and Nuts, Cheeses, Breads, Vegetables, Sweets waterfalls of wine, and streams of spirits that flicker with flames. I eat every food on my table. Aya, Amy, and Julia become my friends. I think they happy with this competition, they knew everything in here and be smart than me. I feel comfortable with them before when I knew them. 

After dinner, a gentleman accompanies me to my room. I say goodbye to them and leave. It's almost 11:00 pm, I feel a bit sleepy and then I get my room. I step forward to bedroom and thinking of the big box gift, but I have no feel to find it. Then, I go to toilet and wash away the layers of makeup and conditioners and dyes and then I go to makeover room to dry my hair by the blow dryer. I have to go to bed, but something makes me wonder. I see a blue light at upper-floor. I go up. Something makes me open my eyes bigger. I don't believe myself. I don't believe my eyes. A big box gift is on my living room table. A blur light is from the letter. I sit down and open it. 

When I look from the stage, it white box, but when I see it close it glitter white box. It means to me.

It's very expensive. I look at it and put it down into the box. Then, I go down to bedroom. The first time that I sleep on this very comfortable bed, it smells of Jasmine on the bed and then I turn off the light and close my eyes.
