Chapter 19: Miss. Cameron Portman

Chapter 19

Danice, Vinne, and Ninna makeover for me.

He shows me Elite dress. It gray. Long sleeves, tie to my waist and skirt. Danice always design me in short dress. I like short dress.

A pair of black silk gloves. Quiet beautiful. Vinne gives me a black eyelid, eyelash, eyebrow, and red lipstick. Ninna make my hair to curly

Simple. Then, I leave. Tonight all the staff, judges, Mrs. Paris, and another high class people will joining this party.

The party hall is on the third floors of the hotel. Then, I enter. I see everyone is dressing black and white. I feel a little bit nervous when I see high class people.

Aya and Julia were talking to other person. When I walk into them, a waiter serving me a champagne, but I request for some juice.

When I turn back, Miss. Cameron Portman walking to me. She's dressing in dark orange shirt. V-neck down to under her breast. Short sleeves with a pairs of black gloves. White skirt with high heels. Look appropriately.

"Hello! How are you?" I asked. "That's the first time I meet and shaking hand with you," I said and smiles. 

"Great! I'm good. How about you?" she asked. 

"I'm good too. You're famous Cameron Portman. The Next's Elite," I said and smile.

"Not really. I have been sent you a pair of nippers, I am not happy when see other girl wearing this," She said.

She means Olivia. Olivia wore it. 

"I'm so sorry about this. I forgot to take it from my room." I apologized. 

"It's not your fault. Just someone want to shows about themselves and they don't care about whose own this thing. So, don't worry. I'm not angry you. Just...Think. Who gonna be win this competition?" she said.

Cameron Portman is a girl that kind, honest, reliable, full of knowledge, beautiful, fabulous, and smart. This is call The Next's Elite. 

"Okay, let take a seat." I requested her during Aya, Julia, and January walking to us for has dinner. We were sitting together at the table.

The waitress serving the foods, tomatoes soup with corn and mushrooms, potato salad, roast scallops and mussels, and fry beef ribs.

For desserts: lemon flavor ice cream, chocolate, doughnuts, and every flavor of macaroons. After that, we dance with high class people.

At 11:30 p.m. the party was over.

We back to our room. I take shower and get sleep...

At the morning I was going back to my Pure Cyan room at the Elite building.

I lay down on the bed, but Vinne and Ninna enter the room and tell me to go to the cosmetic room at the 23th floors.

I don't understand, but just follow her. We enter to the cosmetic room. It pretty small. Maybe they want to makeover for me again. 

"What am I doing here?" I asked Vinne. 

"Oh, hmm...tomorrow is the final day. You have to makeover again with us and a doctor. At 8 a.m. he will arrive. I see Ninna go out of the room. 

"Final day?!" I startled when I heard that. I'll meet my mom soon. 

"Yes. Oh! Rachel, I forgot your dress. Just wait me here until I'm back. Okay?" she asked. I nod agree. Then, she leaves. 

I'm waiting for 2 hours.

I don't know where she goes.

I just walk back and forth in the room.

Nothing to do.

I back to sit.

That's strange! I see the books on the table near the bed.

I think I can read it, but it doesn't. It not novel or education books.

I can't read it.

I have to respect each other.

It contestants biography! Each book is stick with a photo on it.

I'm back to sit and continue waiting. After that, Vinne is back. 

"Where have you been? I have been waiting you for 2 hours!" I asked. I want to angry, but I stop. 

"I'm so sorry. I just busy with Danice because I can't find your dress...Okay, Rachel. You back to the room. Tomorrow is a special day." She said. 

"I don't care what tomorrow it is! You waste my time!" I said and leave the room. 

When I enter the room, someone is made me very happy!

Mom!

She is sitting on my bed. She looks happy and beautiful. I can't see her face for many days. This is only thing that I wish. She give me a hug and kiss my forehead. 

"I miss you so much, you know?" I said. I'm happy until my tear is drop down. 

"Me too! Me too...You did well, sweetheart." She said, "I believe you will win!" she said. 

"I never want to win. I only want to stay with you." I said. "Mom! Can you stay with me a night? Tomorrow is a big day!" I request. 

"Exactly sweetheart!" she answered. 

"I love you, mom!" I yelled and kiss her cheeks.

We're eating together.

Read the books together.

At the night, she and I are sleeping together.
