dear beauty,

i feel the urge to share all my accomplishments with you. it's childish. you have no obligations to praise me, yet i still feel awfully disappointed when you do not. there are many issues which i must resolve within myself, and this is one of the main ones. i feel like i can tell you this freely when we're not face-to-face. it's the only way i can confess everything good and bad. i hope you can understand why i never told you any of this when you were here.
