Conversation with New Emotions

     After they defeated Rod Reiss and helped Historia become queen, the Scouts were given a celebration to relax before their next expedition. Once it was almost done, Izuku walked outside to get some air. To his surprise, Eren was also sitting outside with a few drinks as he smiled at him.

Eren: "Hey, Zuki."

Izuku: "Hey, Eren; You had the same idea too?"

Eren: "Yeah; Want a drink?"

Izuku: "Thanks."

     Izuku then sat down next to Eren while enjoying drinking water together. Soon enough, Eren spoke up.

Eren: "Talk about a long few days, right?"

Izuku: "Yeah, it was insane."

Eren: "I get taking me because of my power, but I never thought that someone would go after Historia and make her a Titan."

Izuku: "Her father was definitely an Asshole making his daughter go through that."

Eren: "At least it's finally over and she became queen."

Izuku: "That much is certain."

Eren: "And hey, we're both still alive after that night."

Izuku: "Lucky us; Hehehe."

     After a moment of silence, Eren asked Izuku something that was bothering him.

Eren: "Hey, Zuki?"

Izuku: "Yeah?"

Eren: "What do you think about Katsuki joining our side?"

Izuku: "Huh? What do you mean? I already gave you my answer, didn't I?"

Eren: "Yeah, but I feel like there's just gotta be more behind it."

Izuku: "How so?"

Eren: "Well, what if he could be tricking us and trying to get under our skin like he did before? We can't risk having Katsuki that chance again."

Izuku: "I see."

Eren: "Zuki, what do you really think about Katsuki joining our side and helping us kill the Titans?"

     Izuku then took a quick moment to think, and soon gave Eren a proper answer that hopefully he'll understand.

Izuku: "Well, it's honestly a surprise; I never expected Kacchan to help us out with anything at all. Eversince we were little kids, he always left us behind and made us deal with difficult situations ourselves without even caring. But now, he just comes back after 5 years and wants to help us deal with a serious problem that can't be delt with alone. I think that he might actually be serious about wanting a second chance to redeem himself after all the harm he put us through. As for starting over as friends, we'll have to watch his actions closely and carefully, and see for sure if he's worthy of that happening."

     After hearing what Izuku said, Eren soon felt calm and held back his anger without scaring him in any way at all.

Eren: "I see; Zuki, It's like I said before, you know that I would never shut you out from anything or leave you to rot alone."

Izuku: "Yeah, I know."

Eren: "Come Hell or high water, I'm always gonna be right by your side. Not only do you have me, but you've also got Armin and Mikasa here with you as well. Whatever crazy events happen in the future, I'm always gonna be there for you and make sure that no one ever hurts you the same way that Katsuki did."

Izuku: "You really think so, Eren?"

Eren: "Not just think, Zuki; I know."

     After hearing what Eren said, Izuku smiled and blushed softly knowing that he's lucky to have someone who truly cares about him. Although, their moment couldn't last very long and it was time to head back inside.

Izuku: "C'mon, we better get back to the bunkers before we get into more trouble."

Eren: "Yeah, good idea; The last thing I want is for Captain Levi to make us clean the cabin from top to bottom all day and not get a break at all."

     Eventually, Eren and Izuku both made it back to the bunkers undetected while everyone else was already asleep, and started to get some rest themselves after a long few days of fighting and celebrating their victory against the Military Police.

Izuku: "Goodnight, Eren."

Eren: "See ya in the morning, Zuki."

     Izuku then turned off the lights and they both started getting some sleep in their own beds. However, Izuku was still awake underneath his sheets, and kept thinking about the moment he had with Eren.

Izuku: "(Man, it's been awhile since I've had some quality time with Eren. Not only that, but it's been a long time since his hatred for Kacchan rose up. Eren's a total opposite from Kacchan over the years we've known each other; He's so loyal, determined, helpful, he's also really sweet and cute...)"

     Once he realized what he was thinking, Izuku shook his head fast and blushed red.

Izuku: "(Wait, what the hell am I thinking!? When did I think of Eren like that!? This never happened to me before with anyone! Maybe I'll figure it out after the mission.)"

     After having his thoughts sorted out, Izuku slowly closed his eyes and got some sleep. Meanwhile, Eren was still awake looking at Izuku while smiling and blushing, and couldn't help but think about the moment they shared outside during the celebration.

Eren: "(Zuki, you're the only person in this life who means the world to me. Aside from Armin and Mikasa, you know me the best out of everyone we knew over the years. I promise you this; No matter what, I will always love and protect you. I don't care who gets in my way. I won't stop until you are safe and sound from anyone who poses as a threat to you.)"

     Once he started remembering the bad times they had with Katsuki, Eren started feeling possessive and furious about him being even near his beloved Izuku.

Eren: "(Katsuki, if you ever try anything to take Zuki from me, I'll definitely kill you right where you stand. I won't let you get away with confusing everyone; Including my sweet Zuki. Mark my words, you will regret betraying me.)"

     Once he had all of his thoughts sorted out, Eren slowly closed his eyes, and got some sleep.
