I was nervous but packed my things with the help of Christi. She was very sad that I had to leave because she'd be the only one to make sure Chris wouldn't be immature. I got fully packed and went to bed soon after. God why was I so nervous for tomorrow?

I woke up and checked my phone. Good god it's 9:15 I have to leave in 45 minutes! AHHH!

I got everything ready and left to go to the airport and made it in good enough time. But I soon got worried as I got into the bag check line and I almost missed the flight but I made it so we're good.

Narrator's view
Maria soon decided that the night before she was to leave for New York that she wouldn't bring her siblings or mom with her. The next morning she also made sure she had everything she needed and got there early. (Because good impressions) - Need I say more?
Once she gets there she sees almost all of the cast but since she hasn't met anyone she just stretches by herself. But while she's stretching DeMarius notices her and goes over to introduce himself.
DeMarius
Hey I'm DeMarius. You must be Maria right?
Maria
Yup that's me I'm playing the new character Maze.
DeMarius' mind
I definitely knew we had a new character.....
DeMarius
I'm so happy you got this role because we've needed a new girlsie.
Maria
Thank you so much. Sorry to interrupt the current conversation but how long do rehearsals normally last?
DeMarius
They normally last about an hour. But since you new and all it might last two.

Yes please! I'm kinda people shy when there's like 40 people around me.

DeMarius got Maria in front of everyone and yelled Newsies! everyone fell silent he then stepped away from Maria to let her speak. What no one did know was that a certain Ben Cook couldn't take his eyes off her.
