I sighed while filling up my wood stocks. I was waiting for my husband, Joel, to come by and drop off our son Hermes. I finished stocking my wood up when I heard some footsteps. I turned to see who it was and saw Jimmy.

"Hey, sheriff!" I said cheerfully.

"Hey, Sausage. Have you stocked up on your wood?" He asked.

"Of course, I wouldn't want to keep the sheriff upset!" I responded. Jimmy smiled, he had different responses on Joel and I. He hated Joel but loved me.

"I'm just waiting for Joel." I explained, as of on command he appeared.

"JOEL!! I told you not to do that with Hermes!!" I sighed, taking him from Joel's hands. Joel laughed in response.

"See you later sheriff." I said, waving goodbye to Jimmy.

"I don't like him, he's too close to you." Joel said.

"Darling, you've got nothing to worry about. He's just a normal customer." I responded.

I put Hermes down so he could play around.

"Are you jealous of Jim?" I asked. In which Joel looked at me.

"Wha- no!" He responded. I laughed softly.

"I'll make dinner." I said softly.

"No, it's my turn." Joel protested.

"The last time you made food it ended with Jimmy and the other empires having to come help take care of the fire." I responded.

"You already do enough." Joel protested again.

"I just take care of Hermes and cook from time to time." I reasoned.

"No, you cook most the time and watch Hermes along with make a lot of income for us." Joel explained.

"Joel darling.. I'm making dinner." I reasoned. Joel finally gave in and agreed. I made dinner and then served it to Joel and Hermes.

"Thank you, love." Joel said softly. I smiled and kissed his cheek. I then went upstairs and showered.

Once finishing my shower I changed into pajamas. I went out to put Hermes to bed when I noticed Joel reading to him. I smiled softly and walked into the room.

"Thank you love." I whispered. Joel smiled and put the book down.

"Let's go to bed now." Joel whispered back. I nodded and walked back to my bedroom. I yawned and laid on my bed, quickly falling asleep.
