3. The Expanding World

After 3 days Anwesha meets Shruti. They both smile at each other and sits on a Oyster.

Anwesha: (With smile) You heard?! Teacher is all right. I am so happy.

Shruti: (With smile) Yeah! (In sad voice) She tried to save us despite of getting attacked by so many Raktvarna Mermaids.

Anwesha: Did you notice anyone before closing your eyes?

Shruti: (In angry voice) Nope, except those monsters. I want to kill them. I am going to war to kill them. Either way I am Orphan. So it won't even matter if I die.

Anwesha: Don't take decision in anger Shruti! Anger is the biggest enemy. However, I kinda feel the same. But I will take decision after some time. Since we have few days to think about it.

Shruti: You should also participate I think. You are really fast which will help you in the battle.

Anwesha: (In serious voice) Maybe! But something feels wrong. I am still thinking that how those humans noticed me? And why any Mer will join hands with human. Not to forget that new poison which was draining power .

Shruti: Now that you mentioned it I remember something. I was almost unconscious and hardly able to breath. At that time I saw blue colour particles everywhere. I don't remember a thing after that.

Anwesha: (Shocked) Really! Let's go and meet Nilvarman. Follow me! (So that means I was right.)

Anwesha holds Shruti's hand and take her with her at full speed. After some time they reach Nilvarman's agency and Nilvarman notices them. He go towards them.

Nilvarman: Looks like you have some important information.

Anwesha then nods and tells him about the mysterious Mermaid and blue particles part. Nilvarman gets serious.

Nilvarman: (In serious voice) Are you sure?

Anwesha and Shruti: Yup!

Nilvarman: (In serious voice) Come with me!

Then they starts following him.

Nilvarman: (In serious voice) Have you ever heard the story of Mother Mermaid and Father Merman?

Anwesha: No! I have heard this first time.

Nilvarman: Let me tell you. Long time ago when terrestrial animals just started to evolve and ecosystem started to change. However, this affected the ecosystem of Ocean and there was chaos in the Ocean. At that time the Sun God and Sea Goddess created a species by mixing their power within them. They were half human and half fish what we called today Mers. The first Mermaid was called Arunya and first Merman was called Matsya. They both controlled the whole ecosystem of Ocean. However since Ocean was too big hence they took some of their powers and divide it in seven forms. Yes! That's the reason Mers have different skin colours. Mother Arunya made seven Mermaids and Father Matsya made seven Merman. They created more Mers and the colour of the skin to everyone was given by the Sea Goddess irrespective of skin colour of their parents. This cycle continued and they were given kingdoms to look after. They can't expand their kingdom was one of the conditions given to the Queens. The remaining area would belong to Mother Arunya and Father Matsya. So in short we are the descendent of Sea Goddess and Sun God. What you have seen exactly matches the description of Mother Arunya. Seeing her means something is really wrong. All of you were saved by her. She can control everything in the Ocean, heal anything. She is all knowing as well. There are many things about her we don't know. However, the only thing I know is she never ever comes to see us. You are the first one who has seen her since ages. It also answers the fact that why no one died which I was thinking.

Anwesha and Shruti both are amazed to hear this story.

Shruti: But why she don't come in front of everyone and tell us the truth?

Nilvarman: (In serious voice) There is something which is stopping her. We don't know that thing for sure. Let's go. We have to tell this to Kalinda.

Shruti and Anwesha look at each other with confusion.

Anwesha: Why teacher? Shouldn't we should inform this to King and Queen first?

Nilvarman: We can't directly talk to Queen and King right now. Hence, I am telling this to Kalinda first as she has influence on whole kingdom after King and Queen.

Shruti: How?

Nilvarman: Oh! You didn't knew about her, right? She is one of the strongest warriors in all seven kingdoms. It's just that she didn't wanted to reveal this to her students. She resigned and decided to be a teacher.

Shruti and Anwesha both gets shocked. Then they proceed to talk and after some time reaches the hospital. They go to the doctor who treated her.

Mermaid doctor: Oh! Kalinda was healed completely yesterday and was able to do things normally today. So she left few minutes ago in full speed.

Nilvarman: Damn it.

Then few soldiers comes there.

Soldier: Where is Kalinda? We have been ordered to gave her security.

Nilvarman: We don't know where she is right now. But why you are ordered to gave her security?

Soldier: (Shocked) What?! Damn it. (In serious voice) Rakshit Raktvarna was killed. Today someone found his body. Nobody knows who killed him and the tensions between two parties has been increased.

Nilvarman: Rakshit Raktvarna?! But he was one of the best warriors throughout the sea along with Kalinda and others. Who has the strength to kill him?

Soldiers: We don't know. But it is definitely not the work from our side. Hence, King thought that whoever did this will attack Kalinda as well.

Nilvarman: (In tense voice) Damn it. We have to find Kalinda as soon as possible. I will come with you. You two stay here and wait.

Then Nilvarman proceeds to go with soldiers. Suddenly Anwesha gets something and without telling she proceeds to go before Shruti can stop her. Meanwhile we see Kalinda with Anwesha's parents.

Kalinda: I see! So she is with Shruti at E-243, right? I will go there.

Anwesha's Mother: Are you ok?! Thanks for saving our daughter.

She then holds Anwesha's Mother's hand.

Kalinda: Don't worry. I won't let anything happen to my students again.
