Mermaid: The Expanding World

5. A Place to Live

            We see Nilvarman going with soldiers. But then he sees a bottle in one soldier's pocket. He get suspicious and notices same thing with others. He quickly took a soldier's spear and kills everyone around him.

One Soldier: (While dying) How you knew?

Nilvarman: I noticed it only humans uses bottles.

           Nilvarman then quickly goes back and then he sees Anwesha just came there.

Anwesha: (In a worry) I have something important to say Sir!

          Anwesha then tells whole story to Nilvarman. Nilvarman gets shocked by hearing it.

Mermaid doctor: Oh my God! I never expected this.

Nilvarman: We have to go there quickly.

           They are thinking to go but at that moment they see Dhruv coming there with Shruti in his hands.  Anwesha and Nilvarman both gets shocked.

Anwesha: (In worry) Shruti! What happened to her?

Dhruv: I will tell everything later. First please treat her.

Doctor: There is no way I can treat her. Unfortunately there is a plant poison inside her. To treat it I would need to collect certain plants and unluckily I am out of their stock.

Dhruv: (In worry) No, no, no! I will do anything and everything. Just tell me the plants.

          But then some blue particles starts falling on Shruti and her wound starts healing along with poison. They all look above and they all see Arunya.
           Meanwhile we see Kalinda with her spear feeling powerless and others ready. But then a huge Merman who has same features as Arunya comes between them. They both stands still.

Prince: (Shocked) Father! You are alive! We thought this Mers took your powers and killed you.

Kalinda: (Shocked) Father Matsya!

Matsya: (In calm voice) I will explain everything. For now you will have to stop. Many have lost their lives due to this stupid act. I have called everyone in the Mariana Trench. Come there and no fighting.

Prince: We will Father!

Then Matsya look at Kalinda and smiles.

Matsya: (With smile) I am proud of you. The moment you realised the part of truth you stopped killing. Your mother will be proud of you.

         Then he leaves from there. After some time we see everyone at Mariana Trench. Kalinda see Shruti and hugs her.

Kalinda: (In crying voice) You didn't needed to come between you idiot! Thank God you are alive!

Shruti: I am totally ok teacher! I won't die until I tease you enough.

Kalinda then looks at Dhruv and hugs him. Shruti and Anwesha along with Nilvarman gets confused.

Kalinda: (With smile) Everyone! Meet my brother Dhruv!

Everyone gets shocked.

Nilvarman: Wait, is this guy half-half? What's going on?

Kalinda nods. Then Arunya and Matsya comes in centre. Everyone stops talking.

Arunya: Today, I want to tell you something important. Long long ago when we ordered our decedents to form kingdom the Ocean ecosystem started to get on tract. However, some of the Mers and humans fell in love with each other creating a child. First the child was either Human or Mer. So it was no problem. The human child was forbidden from entering the sea. However, in the generation of Kalinda's mother Aruna the first time Half Mer and half Human came into existence. But before Aruna could tell anyone she was killed by humans. Hence, the rule didn't change despite of giving some exception. However, many humans noticed this thing and they were completely rejected. Some of them were killed. They didn't even knew where there kingdom was. So instead of sending them to their Kingdom we took them as our child. We didn't gave them to Kingdom in fear of discrimination. Hence we taught them everything and raise them all. We all were living happily but the feeling of revenge remained in some of them. So in the name of giving presents they managed to seperate us and sealed us and told everyone that our powers were taken by all Mer King and Queens and we were killed by them. Hence, they made all this plan. However, a little Mermaid named Anwesha freed me by sitting on that rock in which I was sealed. But before I face the half-half there they left but I saved them all with the power of sun. Later it took me 2 days to find Matsya and as soon as I released him we went to convince everyone. This all situation has arised due to our negligence. I must thank some of the Mers for handling the conflict as much as they could. Today I announce that the Half Mer-Half Human will live in the region governed by us. They will form their own Kingdom there. If some Mer want to meet their relatives or vice versa they will need special permission from both kingdoms. I order every single of you that you won't ever do any discrimination against anyone. The only moment you will fight is when you will need to protect yourself. Is this clear?

Everyone: (Shouting) Yes!

          After the announcement the other Mers started going in their respective kingdoms. We see Kalinda smiling at Dhruv.

Kalinda: (With smile) Looks like it's time. I have to go now. We will definitely meet again. I am so glad that you are alive.

Then Dhruv hugs Kalinda.

Dhruv: (With smile) Yeah! I want to tell you one thing. Don't take the guilt of Mother's death. It was not our fault, Sister!

Kalinda gets emotional but controls herself. Then Prince comes in front of Kalinda and bows.

Prince: I am deeply sorry for attacking your students and you. The feeling of anger made me do something worse.

But then Kalinda and Nilvarman bows in front of him.

Kalinda: We should be sorry as well. We have also killed many of your brothers. We can't ever bring there life back.

Prince: Your shouldn't be! You did it for saving your life or your student's life. But don't worry. They will be reborn again as per Father Matsya!

Kalinda and Nilvarman: (With happy face) Really?!

Then he nods. Then they all leaves and that's how the peace in the Ocean came again into existence.
