Omake: How it should have happened if Rex never was forgotten? 

"Yo, Kiana," Rex greeted as his eyes widened while he tried to limp away only for Kiana to grab him in a headlock.

"You stupid idiot!" Kiana shouted as she used her powers of finality to heal Rex while choking him out. "I stayed here to protect everyone and you just pop in here unannounced after beating up Mei!" 

"What the hell was I supposed to do?! Leave a crybaby like you alone?" Rex asked as Kiana loosed her hold and changed from a chokehold to a hug. "and why did you only focus on Mei?!" 

"I missed you, dumbass," Kiana whispered with a smile.

"I am the smart one, dumbass," Rex said with a smile as he faced Kiana. 

"I am stealing your archon cloak!" Kiana announced causing the young man to chuckle as the oversized cloak for one person appeared over his form as he covered her with it. "You know... you made Mei cry." 

"I did..." Rex said while Kiana pouted at him and pinched his cheek while wriggling her way in front of him, 

"I can't really trust you," Kiana said in a playful tone as she lowered the hood to cover his eyes. 

"What the?!-" 

A soft pair of lips met him as Kiana stopped covering his eyes with his hood, revealing a blushing face. Seeing the adorable sight, the young archon felt butterflies in his stomach as Kiana pulled away from the kiss and rested her forehead on his chest, 

"No fair... you're even more taller than Mei," the shorter girl said, causing the young Archon to smile as he fell on his bum, bringing the Kaslana girl with him as she smiled at him. 

"I'm so tired..." Rex said, remembering the amount of stress he went through and seeing and spending time with his dumbass of a best friend made him lose every single amount of stress. 

"I like the stubble," Kiana said, caressing his day-old stubble that made her fingers itch a bit. 

"Well, I like your new hairstyle..." Rex said as his eyes closed shut while Kiana lay on top of him.

Rex smiled as he opened his eyes only to pale as he saw the angry purple of Mei Raiden, his... friend... with benefits(?) 

"H-hey," Rex greeted only for him to notice Kiana on top of him, covering the both of them with his cloak. "I only went there to rescue, Kiana! Honest!" Rex said, praying to God that Mei won't think that he wanted to steal Kiana away. 

"You kissed Kiana," Mei said with a blank look that hurt Rex a lot before it turned to a pout as she playfully hugged Kiana while getting on his hospital bed, playfully keeping Rex away from Kiana. "Mine," 

"Okay..." Rex replied as Mei giggled and caressed his cheek before kissing him gently. "You too,"
