Raised By Wolfes

Chapter 4.

Nypha and her siblings heard the howl. Jin with Jang hid in a corner of a den, whining. Nypha and Runa desperetly looked at each other.
,,Im going to find her" barked both of them at the same time.
,,So which one?" Asked Nypha. Runa thought for a second.
,,You should go." She looked at her.
,,I will look after these two dummies."
Nypha nodded and crawled out of den. She looked at Runa and her brother for the last time and then she made her way through the forrest, right to the place where she heared the howling come from.

Brom was walking towards his home, moving bag on his shoulder. Ursa tryed every possible way to get out of there, even tryed to bite a hole in the bag but it was too strong for her teeth so there was no other chance for her than toss herself.

Brom was starting to be pissed of by constant move of the wolf. So pissed of that he tear the bag down of his shoulder and smashed it to the ground. A silent whine sounded and the moving stopped.

Ursa wasnt dead, but her paw was injured by that smash and she didnt have any strengh left to fight. She accepted her fate.

Brom kicked out the doors of his house, scaring the hell out of his son waiting at the table.

Felix looked at his father as he thrown the bag on the floor and revealed its inside.

,,Do you recognize it?" Asked Brom.
Felix was stareing at the wolf that was lying on the floor, then he looked at Brom with pure confusion in his eyes.

,,Dad, What the hell is this supposed to be?" Said Felix as he looked at the wolf again.
,,Its the "girl" you saw in the forest. There was no human girl just this wolf. Now take this and take care of it." Said Brom as he handed a knife to his son.

Felix looked at the shining blade of a knife and shivered. Blood and death was looking from it, but he took it anyway. Then he grabed the wolf and took it to the backyard of his house.

Wolf looked at him so anxiously. Felix didn't even try to harm her. He just thrown the knife away, kneeled to the wolf and started to search her paw.

As he touched it, the wolf whined quietly.
Felix looked at her with strict but also gentle eyes ,,I know it hurts but if you want to survive, i need to find what is wrong with your paw. Will you let me?"
Ursa looked at him, trying to read his expresion. After a while she lied down and let the human touch her paw.

Felix investigated it and found out it was broken. He gentle dropped it and stood up.
,,Shh, i'll be right back." He walked to the window and looked inside. His dad was just leaving. Felix didnt know where is he going but i was just what he needed.

He sneaked inside to get the bandages. Then he returned to the wolf and wraped it around her paw.
,,Now how will i get you out of here?" He thought.

Then he saw a carriage his dad used for delivering meat to the villagers. He drove it to the wolf and then, with lot of strengh and heavy breathing lifted her on its top.

Wolf whined a little bit cause Felix accidentally touched her paw.
,,Im so sorry!" He cryed anxiously, but he putted himself together quickly. He grabbed the carriage and drove it between the trees, enough far from the village so the others can't see her, but close enough so he can go check on her.

He left her there with words ,,Please, stay here. Noone can find you here. I promise i'll be back as soon as possible." Then he grabbed the carriage and took it back to his house.

He steped inside and stoped. He thought for a while.
,,This can't be what i saw in that forrest. I saw a human, for sure."
He rashed to the main door of the house, running through them, making his way to the forrest.
,,I'm gonna find her myself."

Nypha lurked around the dark forrest entrance. She was looking, smelling, lisrening, doing anything that can help her find her mother but it was helpless. Nypha didn't saw or smelled anything, but she heard something.

She turned to that direction so fast she almost missed the red haired boy that she saw before. A silent growl went out of her mouth. Boy noticed it, Nypha stepped back.

He tryed to come closer but she growled again, so he sat on the ground, waiting for her to come herself.

She looked at him for a while, and she started to come closer, slowly, step by step, but still anxious.

As she was close enough that he could reach her, he grabed her wrist. She tryed to pull back but he was strong.
,,Im not gonna hurt you." He said gently.
Nypha realized that he wasn't going to hurt her but she still didn't want to go.
,,That white wolf," said Felix, Nyphas attention raised ,,Is it what you looking for?" He continued.

Face of the girl was talking by itself. Felix took her arm and they started walking to his village.
