The Eighth | Five Hargreeves x reader

hey! I'm gonna put some background information about me and the book, if you have any questions please let me know!

My name is natalie, or nat, and I am 15 years old. I come from a little town in Oregon, and this is my very first book on here!

It seems kind of intimidating, to be honest, I've never written an actual fanfiction before let alone a book haha. I hope it is enjoyable for everyone on here :))

The background info on the book is, you, the reader, are the eighth of the children Reginald Hargreeves adopts. But I changed some things.

Firstly, this book takes place in the third season and you are a part of the sparrow academy. its very rare that I see a sparrow reader on here, so I decided I would make one!

secondly, Reggie does not adopt you eight. He instead recruits you, or buys you from a very young age. In this story, he promised the parents of these kids that they will be able to see you guys again once you hit 18. ( he was lying ). So no weird adoptive incest in this book!

Also, I would probably put the powers of number eight here, but to go along with my plotline ( and in the first chapter you'll find out why) you won't know, and you will gradually figure out what it is you used to do and the powers you receive.

there will also be topics of depression, and I'm personalizing the character a little, I'll try to be the most inclusive, but I want this character to display the struggles that come with having depression. I know a lot of people struggle with mental health, so I want to make this relatable and shed some light on what we go through. There will be angsty moments, for character development, and I will make sure I put warnings before the chapter.

overall, I think there will be struggles with mental health, suicidal tendencies, some violence ( it wouldn't be tua without it tbh) and I will update this page for more warnings.

I really hope that anyone who reads this genuinely enjoys this book as much as I had written it.
