My Best Friend

{GON POV}

One....two....three

"Gon....."

"Killua...."

We just sat there in silence, staring at each other. "S-say that again?" Killua stuttered, getting teary eyed, "Gon, my name is Gon" I say quietly, a bit speechless "n-no that can't be-what's your last name?" Killua said "Freecess" I say.

Killua suddenly started to cry, and then pulled me into a hug, crying into my neck. "Gon! Gon is that really you?!" He cried, I nod and was starting to cry as well "yeah it's me, is that really you? Killua Zoldyck" I said and creased his face with my thumb, he nodded "mmh it is me!" He cried and buried deeper into the hug, this time I hugged him back.

"What? How? When? I have so many questions" Killua said, I laughed "it's been a while huh" I said, wiping away my tears. Killua cuffed my face "I barely recognised you, you look a bit different" he said "really? I didn't recognise you at all! You look so handsome now" I blurted out, Killua had a blush on his face, "handsome? Really?" He said, shyly "what it's true! When I fist layed my eyes on you I thought, wow you looked so pretty" I said, Killua hit the back of my head "idiot" he laughed and I laughed along.

It was the afternoon now, and me and Killua decided to sit in the living room together and have a movie night and just talk. I grabbed the popcorn from the microwave whilst Killua put on the movie and dimmed the lights.
I sat next to him, like, right next to him, our shoulders were touching. He wrapped his arms around me and cuddled "do you know how much I've missed you?" Killua whispered, I nod "I've missed you too Killua" I say "everyday I was depressed.... I couldn't stop thinking about you" Killua said "me too. But look at this! We go to the same school and we share a room together! Isn't that enough?" I said and touched his face, he nods "I couldn't ask for anything more" he said "by the way....sorry for being so rude" Killua apologies "aw that's ok!" I nudged him in the arm and we sat back and watched the movie.

The movie ended and I switched the TV off. I looked to my side and saw Killua sleeping on me, I smiled and stroked his hair. I then picked him up and took him to his room, I lay him down in his bed and covered him with the blanket, I also got in and got myself comfortable, cuddling up to Killua, I never want to let him go again, "goodnight Killua" I said and drifted off to sleep.

I opened my eyes, adjusting to the early morning light. I sit up from the bed, and I look around the room, this is not my room, I then look beside me and see Killua, still sleeping, with his arms wrapped around my waist. I smile at him, that's right, I'm in Killua's room! I found out that I was reunited with my best friend, after so many years.

I got out my phone and looked at the time "7:40 am" oh crud! I'm gonna be late for school now. I decided to call in sick because I knew I was gonna be late, today I'm spending the day with Killua.

Killua slowly started to wake up as well, he yawned and stretched his arms out, like some type of cat. "Morning" I said joyfully, whilst I'm still hugging him, his eyes blink a few times then he blushes and stares at me "m-morning. Hey aren't we gonna be late for school?" Killua said "it already started now. I called in sick" I said "ohh I see" Killua said, "I wanna spend the day with you, so what do you wanna do?" I asked. Killua thought for a moment "to be honest I just wanna stay in bed and cuddle with you" Killua said, all quietly, "if that's what you want we can do that" I said and got under the blanket again "I don't mind" I whispered and we both drifted off to sleep, in each other's arms.
