Tiana's POV:

I couldn't believe it.

The Warriors got knocked out of the 2023 NBA Playoffs by the Los Angeles Lakers in Game 6.

Ayesha Curry and I sighed. We both knew the team would be upset, including Steph and Klay.

I knew Klay would beat himself up for the loss because he hasn't been himself since Game 2. It's like his performance went downhill after he dropped those 30 points.

As his girlfriend, I need to be there for him. However, this isn't new to me, and I've been a WAG (wife and girlfriend) since high school.

From James Rodriguez to Oscar Emboaba, I've been through it all.

You're probably surprised that I'm no longer with Oscar. To keep it short, we mutually ended things in 2017 because he left Chelsea to play in the Chinese Super League.

I knew from the moment he told me that he was going to be traded that the relationship would be over.

I mean, England and China are so far apart.

Despite this, we tried to make it work. It wasn't the same from late-night FaceTime calls to me staying up at 2 AM to watch his games.

Ending things with Oscar was rough, but I had to move on. My music career was rocketing sky-high, and I was embarking on a world tour, and I had to put my career first.

"Hey, Tiana, let's meet with the guys near the locker rooms," Ayesha said, looking at me.

"Okay," I replied. "Let's go."

We exited our seats and headed to the visitor's locker rooms. It was a hassle on the way there because of the loud Lakers fans, security, and media personnel.

Ayesha and I finally made it to the visitor's locker room, patiently waiting for the Warriors team.

Finally, I saw a few of the players. Ayesha and I told them they did the best they could. Some of them gave sad smiles, while others showed no emotions.

Then, Draymond Green approached us.

"Hey, Tiana and Ayesha," He greeted, then sighed.

"Hey, Dray, you did great tonight," I said.

"Yeah, till next season," Ayesha added.

"Hey man, it's basketball," He said. "Also, I got four rings, so I'm good."

Ayesha and I let out a small laugh. Draymond smiled and then made his way to the locker rooms.

Finally, Steph and Klay came, along with Coach Steve Kerr. Coach Kerr greeted Ayesha and me. We welcomed him back, and he went inside.

I immediately hugged Klay, wrapping my arms around his neck. He hardly wrapped his arms around my waist.

"You played your heart out tonight, baby," I said in his ear.

"I could've done better, Ti," He replied in my ear.

I kissed Klay on the lips.

"Thank you, babe," He said. "I'll see you at home."

"Okay," I replied as I watched Klay enter the locker room.

Meanwhile, Ayesha and Steph hugged and kissed after their embrace. They exchanged a few words, and Steph went to the locker room.

"Hey, Tiana," He said, walking past me.

"Hey Steph, good game tonight," I replied.

"Thank you," He said before closing the door.
