Rosie's POV*
I was in the principal's office with my dad talking to the principal. I could tell that she was sucking up to my dad because of who he was. Let me tell you, I did not want to watch this because it was just sad. She honestly thought being nice to me and my dad was going to lead to this school getting funded by my dad. Then she has another thing coming.
"As you know Rosaline is here to study and practice her viola. So she can't have any distractions." My dad told Ms. Diona.
"I understand Mr. Jiang." Ms. Diona said, "and if she has any problems with any of her roommates I will take care of it."
"I am glad that we are on the same page." My dad said.
"Of course." Ms. Diona replied. "We had them check the room so everything is ready for her. Also one of her roommates has the same situation as your daughter so she won't be a problem."
"That's good." my dad said. My dad turned to look at me then said, "Rosaline, your security will take you to your room because I have to go."
"OKay, father." I replied. We got up and I gave him a hug before walking out of the office. My security led me to my room and I saw another girl with security walk in also. I thanked the men then walked into my room. I noticed that she was on the phone so I sat down on the only empty bed. Just as I sat down two girls ran into the room, probably to find out about me and our other roommate. The girl was still on the phone and one of the other girls cleared her throat. The girl turned around to look at the two. I walked over to join them.
"Hi, I'm Corki Chang, your new roommate." Corki introduced herself.
"I'm Rosaline Jiang, your other new roommate, but please call me Rosie." I told them.
"I'm Jodi." Jodi introduced herself. "This is Sun Hi." she said pointing to the girl who was standing next her, who was looking at us weirdly.
"Are you two famous?" Sun Hi suddenly asked us.
"Sun Hi!" Jodi exclaimed.
"Come on! We're sisters in dorm life. We need a circle of trust and if they are famous, ooh." Sun Hi said. She was behind us and pulled off both our hats looking at them. "Designer." she whispered waving our hats. She put them back on our heads before saying, "I need to know so I can use it to my advantage."
"Don't mind Sun Hi." Jodi told us. "She's weird."
"Not weird weird. Just unique weird." Sun Hi said, making a peace sign by her eye.
Jodi must've noticed our instruments because she asked, "You guys play those?" Pointing to Corki's violin and my viola.
"Since I was four, my father wanted me to." Corki answered.
"I've been playing since I was three, my father wanted me to, too." I answered.
"Well my father wanted me to be an astrophysicist, but I think disappointment is good for parents." Sun Hi said. Jodi and her were smiling and nodding. "Keeps them guessing."
"Look you two seem nice, but you probably won't be seeing much of me or Rosie. We are here to study hard and get into an American university." Corki explained to them. Wait, how did she know? That was the reason why my father sent me here. Unless my father told Mr. Chang and he told Corki.
"Yes, she is right." I spoke up.
"You're right they're not spies, they're aliens." Sun Hi said to Jodi. That creeped me out so I just stood there next to Corki and smiled at them.
*************************
"Sun Hi come on!" Jodi shouted at Sun Hi the next morning. Corki and were studying together. It is actually more fun to study with someone else who can keep up with you. Instead of tutors that have to look at their notes to make sure they are correct about what they are teaching me.
