Rosie's POV*
We were walking with Ms. Diona to our room. I just knew that Jodi and Sun Hi were going to get in a lot of trouble. Not only because Corki and I complained, but also because the feathers from the pillows were all over the room. When we got to the room Ms. Diona knocked on the door before opening it. Corki and I followed behind her, but I put my head down.
Ms. Diona gasped when she saw the room, "Ladies, I am very disappointed to learn the miss Chang and miss Jiang have requested a room for two."
"Oh, do you have single rooms too?" Sun Hi asked. "I wouldn't mind a room for two, but I prefer a single room."
"My point is they are staying here and if I hear any more complaints, beyond this feather situation I've now added to this rooms complaint list, I will make sure this becomes a room for two." Ms. Diona said. "Got it."
"I thought you didn't have a room for two." Sun Hi said.
"I think she's saying we'll be kicked out." Jodi explained.
"Oh." Sun Hi said. Ms. Diona tapped her nose before walking out of the room. Sun Hi and Jodi looked at us, while Jodi held out the dustpan she was holding.
***********************
Corki and I were walking to our next class, since we have all of our classes together. I think that has something to do with our fathers. They probably think putting us together will be better for everyone in the end. As I was saying, we were walking to class when a boy with blonde hair walked in front of us.
"Hi, I'm Caleb Davis." Caleb greeted. "Who are you two? I mean we should know each other."
Corki laughed, "I'm Corki."
I giggled before answering, "And I'm Rosie."
"Are you okay?" we asked together. "You seem nervous."
"Me?" Caleb questioned. "No, I'm fine. I also just drank coffee for the first time." Corki and I looked at him in disbelief. "Listen, I just binged watched your online video, you two and your friends are talented. I'm a DJ," He pointed towards himself, "your voices, my beats we could be unstoppable."
"We're here to focus on our school work." I told Caleb, speaking for both Corki and myself. We walked past him and hoped that he wouldn't follow us. But the world has a funny way of showing how much it cares.
"But you two have plenty of time to study for school. Five, six years in some cases. This music is now." he said, putting the headphones on my head. I listened to the music and soon I was smiling.
"It's very catchy." I told him.
"Exactly!" Caleb exclaimed, taking the headphones off of my head. "I mean with the right voices this song could be number one."
"We'll think about it." Corki and I told him. We turned to walk away when Corki and I both bumped into someone.
"I"m so sorry." I apologized, making sure not to look at the person and I could hear Corki also apologizing.
"It's okay." the person in front of me, told me. While Corki's guy said. "Don't be rock solid." He hit where his abs probably were. "Jared Anderson, senior class president and this is my brother Jacob." he said pointing to his brother. They both held out their hands for us to shake so we shook them.
"And who are you?" Jacob asked.
"I'm Rosaline Jiang, but you can call me Rosie and this is Corki Chang." I said pointing to myself and Corki.
"Are you the two girls from the pillow fighting video?" Jared asked.
"That was a mistake." I told him and Corki nodded in agreement.
