One morning, my younger sister, Vanicella, barged into my room holding out four quarters. "WOOK!!!!" She yelled. "I GOT MONEY FWUM DA TOOF FAIWY!!!!" I rolled to the other side of my bed. "Tooth Fairies aren't real, Vanicella. Mom and dad just put money under your pillow, saying that it was the Tooth Fairy. Now go back to bed." Vanicella clenched her money in her fist. "MOOOOMYYYY!!!!!" She cried. Mom came running up the stairs, holding a First Aid kit. "Mom's here!" She panted. "Wait. Nobody's hurt...Aaliyah, what did you do?" She demanded. "All I did was tell her that Tooth Fairies AREN'T real". Mom gave me a face. "Aaliyah, you know that you would be in big trouble if you told Vanicella that things were not real. Like the time about Peter Pan. Or legends. Or Pirates. Or Mermaids. Especially that time when you said that you didn't believe in the luck of Vanicella's raffle ticket at the fair. You know what? Your grounded." Man, I sure did not want to be grounded. Especially a week before my school dance. I tried to tell mom about it, but she said no. What could I do now? This was all Vanicella's fault. I'll never forgive her again.
