Ch-9: Fight between Wits

The time was right. Denki is surrounded by nothing but the brutal lesson of life and death. Whatever he did he was outsmarted constantly. Nothing left, he walked straight ahead not looking backward.

Tomorrow will decide the fate of these young boys. It all laid upon wits the thing that started this case. If only, Denki didn't look for clues if only Yardle didn't go to the park if only Meruni was serious while interrogating.

Etch was catching up to where Denki rested. There was silence and only silence, no word came out of Denki's mouth. It seemed like he had accepted it as a life lesson.

Etch had finally caught up to Denki, he saw him resting across the pole. With a wide grin, he approached him. He tried to run away but was caught by him, he had caught Denki at last. Denki accepted his fate nothing was with him anymore he had lost hope.

Then all of a sudden a woman appeared from behind for his safety, it was none other than Ashi Hiro the mother of Denki. Etch in shock tried to run away but Denki had caught his leg and he was not giving up no matter what. Ashi was followed by Detective Sekmana and his men, but there was also someone else it was....Etch's brother Mao Crook.

Denki was not letting him go all of a sudden Etch grabbed him by his neck but Denki was calm as possible he tried to look for his surrounding then he jumped with Etch to the sea nearby. Everyone watched astonished, Ashi began to sob while Mao began to laugh.

Under the sea were two masterminds plotting against each other. Denki had analyzed that the current was not strong at that time so he pushed Etch and tried to reach the surface, but Etch had the upper hand he was an adult. So with all his might he pulled Denki as far away as he could and went on to reach it.

In any case, just accepting death was not like Denki, so he tried to dive deep under the water. Deep breaths were key here but his nose was blocked from air for too long. So he let himself sink so that he could crouch when he hit the surface below and jumped with all his might. He came up while Etch was still far down. He pushed Etch but decided to save him as he was not like Etch.

They came to a shore Etch had fainted and Denki was coughing all over. The detective hurried as much as he can and arrested Etch. Denki had won....no, not yet there was something else.
