Ch-4: The Mysterious Crooks

Denki woke up still feeling dizzy. He thought to go take some chilled drinks when he found himself in some kind of basement he tried to open the door but it was locked. Unfortunately for him, a creepy voice buzzed through the air. It was some familiar voice he listened in the conversation. "Ah, the golds are precious honey they would sell for quite a good price in the black market", "Honey you are always praising me, see here I have locked up this kid hear his deliquesce screams if you will HA HA HA". He heard a noise of a boy sobbing, it sounded familiar for some reason.

Time was ticking. He tried to look at the situation by breaking the doorknob, but it scared everyone as it made a loud thud noise. By now the two very mysterious people came to check up on him. Denki was absolutely shocked and so terrified that he wanted to crawl up into a corner of the room.

The man was Etch Crook, and with him was a woman laughing hysterically. "You better starve and go up boy as I don't like to do the dirty work". "Why did you do this to me? What did I ever do to deserve this". "You still don't realize do you, I have some men working for me and they keep an eye on boys like you and after I saw you trying to gain information on me I knew I had to end you" spoke Etch in a terrifying voice. The voice echoed throughout the basement. "Honey, don't do the dirty work what if the cops catch up to us, what er can do is make him starve to death" replied the evil cackled woman. "Ah, my precious darling. Edina I can't get enough of you," told Etch. "Stop flattering me, by the way what do we do of the purple head boy" spoke Edina.

They left and locked the basement. There were a lot of screaming and struggling noises but suddenly it died down. Denki quickly figured out that the boy they kidnapped with him was Yardle.

Searching the basement he saw a card, he tried to unlock the door by using the card as they do it on the magic shows and it certainly worked. With a click of noise, he ran hurriedly and saw a rope and a chair. "This is the place where they tied up Yardle" thought Denki. There he saw a lollipop and some candies laying down he thought it would be crucial evidence and picked it up. Then he decided to search the place thoroughly for some clues, and to his amazement saw a ring lying aside from a car. He picked it up and realized that it was the engagement ring of his mother.

"Ah, honey I have to check up on that boy, you mind the purple-haired kid ok?" , "Of course darling I have called Crookie here to play with me is that okay?", "Darling, that's not even a question after all he is our kid you needn't ask for my permission though I am your butler" spoke Etch in a funny manner. "HA HA HA you're really funny now go check up on that kid," told Edina in a crooked manner.

After hearing his footsteps he hid beside the car. Etch not finding Denki grew furious after telling his wife Edina she grew mad like never seen before. She told him to make the pawns search for the area to find him. Yardle would be glad if heard the name Denki but he couldn't as he was poisoned.

Denki saw that this was a large warehouse and there were a lot of rooms. He searched all of the rooms while hiding to not get caught by the men. After he went to the last door, he saw a lot of badges, gold coins, a stack of cash scattered all over the place, diamond jewelry, lavish food items, lots of wood, a really expensive television, tons and tons of bars of gold. But what surprised Denki the most was the Queen Of Albem a really expensive lavish item that was worn by the extremely wealthy family The Sandials and they have successfully stolen it.

Denki lay quite in shock but after hearing the footsteps of men he took the Queen Of Albem and went for the exit. But he quickly noticed he was being chased by Etch he was terrifyingly fast and was making threats of killing him if he didn't stop running away. He ran without looking behind and was out of the exit. But he was still being chased by Etch, so he took a bicycle lying near the warehouse and kept pumping his legs, if he was caught he wouldn't make it out alive. To his unluckiness, he heard the noise of a car being boosted up and immediately realize that Etch was coming in his own car while he was stuck using an ordinary bicycle. He wanted this to end being so afraid he went up to the woods late night just so he could get away from Etch. He wanted to do nothing with him he was so terribly afraid in fact that he wanted to jump off the lake which was beside the road he was traveling.

But the woods was the most dangerous place at night, it was even restricted and was guarded by spiked fences but one of them was broken so that's how Denki was trapped in the woods now.
