(Isaiah brings out Charmander)
Me: Dedenne let's go!
(Dedenne comes out of Ky's pocket)
(Isaiah and Ky smirk)
Me: you ready?
Isaiah: *nods*
Me: Dedenne use quick attack!
Dedenne: Dedenne!
(Dedenne uses quick attack and goes to Charmander)
Isaiah: dodge Charmander!
Charmander: char char
(Charmander dodges)
Me: *smirks*
Isaiah: ?...!
(Dedenne uses nuzzle on Charmander)
Charmander: Charmander!
Isaiah: Charmander!
(Charmander fainted)
Isaiah: alright Charmander you did good
(Isaiah puts Charmander back in it's pokéball)
Me: you did well...how long did you have your last pokemon battle?
Isaiah: ....5 years ago
Me: !?
Isaiah: ya I got Charmander when I was 7 since my siblings got their Pokemons before me
Me: how old are your siblings? I know it's rude...
Isaiah: no no it's fine, my sister is 15 and my brother is 16
Me: oh got it, let's get your pokemon healed
Isaiah: ya let's do that
