It had been over a year since yous got together and Nadine had fully moved in, but something else spectacular happened...

(Flash back) (Nadine)

Well todays the day, I have the ring hidden somewhere in the house but Y/n can't know yet, we're going to dinner then coming back home, I'll have petals leading to the bedroom where she'll then turn around to see me on my knee asking her to be my wife....

"Honey you ready to go?" Y/n walks into the bedroom draping her jacket over her arm

"Um yes.. I'm just gonna head to the bathroom real quick you can head out to the car if you want, get it warmed up"

"Ok sure" She walked off leaving me alone in the room

I quickly took the balloons out from the wardrobe, sprinkled the petals around them and down onto the floor into the living room then quickly grabbed my stuff running out to the car

The car ride was silent as I thought about what her dad had said, I knew he hated us together but his heart is just so shallow, luckily her mum said of coarse and is even going to make the cake for our wedding... well if Y/n says yes

We pull up outside a little pub restaurant near our house and I rush around to open the door for her

"Oh thank you" She says shocked as she steps out from the car

I hold her hand tightly as we walk in through the door "Hiya we have a booth table booked for 7:00"

"Yes of coarse come this way" The waiter led us to this private booth

"I'm just gonna run to the bathroom first I'll be 2 seconds"  Y/n scurries off

(Y/n Pov)

I run to the bathroom digging my phone out of my bag and calling my Mum

"Mum... hey we're at the restaurant now and I'm sort of freaking, I don't know how to do this or when... do I wait till I'm home or what?"

"Calm down it's ok... wait till your at home you'll feel more comfortable so just calm down and enjoy your dinner"

"Ok... thanks" I mutter

"No problem sweetie"

"Bye Mum"

"Bye"

I slowly walk out of the bathroom heading towards the table "Ok ok I'm so ready for food" I smile as I open the menu

(Nadine's Pov)

We headed home not long after finishing our dessert, but now.. now it's the time

I opened the door making sure Y/n goes walk in first "Where did all of these come from" She giggles turning to me whilst pointing at the red petals along the floor

"Follow them and you'll see" I grin

She walks on slowly creeping through the bedroom door to see a heart of rose petals on the bed "Aw this is so sweet... but why" She laughs whilst turning around to face me

Her eyes widening as she sees my on my knee behind her with a open ring box in my hand "Y/n.."

She blushes whilst nodding

"You are the most gorgeous woman I have ever met... and before I met you don't know what I was doing with my life, you have made me smile, laugh, learn how to love again, I never would've expected to be on my knee doing this, but I am and I couldn't be happier about it... Y/n Cohan will you be my wife?"
