So y'know The ocean colony and the shared Territory between the ice and ocean kingdoms? Yeah that (minus the islands but including part of the Chimera confederacy) used to be owned by the Jungle territory. (which was a full country back then.) However the Ocean and Ice kingdom made an alliance to seize it and absolutely decimated them, destroying their royal family and killing most of the women, which is why the Jungle Territory is one of the only (kinda) countries on the dragon continent not led by women. the Ocean Kingdom got to make their colony and the Ice kingdom got access to the islands and an ally at its borders. The Chimera Confederacy didn't exist until pretty recently, created from the broken pieces of the Butterfly and Love kingdoms after the Monarch massacre, it is a known sanctuary for hybrids and minorities like eastern dragons. The pink there is the Kitsune colony, who owned the land before they did? The Aerial kingdom. Who barely used it because the land was flat and clear, a habitat much better suited for the adaptable foxes. So they sold the land to the Kitsunes. The reason the scorpion territory and badlands are seperate is solely because it has a large oasis making the land actually fertile.
