[ 3rd Person POV ]

It was the next day. Early in the morning, many students gathered with their friends, gossiping and laughing. Noises of cars got louder, trees were rustling, and birds singing, which could be heard in a far away distance.

Like everyday, the group of friends were altogether beneath a couple of trees, the shadows preventing the suns bits to fall on them. They were chattering nonstop, like how they usually would. Only Haerin was a bit bothered. Maybe because of the fact that she saw Dani talking to the same boy. He was tall, way taller than Dani. He had dark hair. Haerin now regretted not knowing her classmates names, and everything else. She rolled her eyes.

"Woah, Haerin!" Hyein shouted, "who hurt you??" she continued. Haerin averted her gaze from Danielle. She could only ignore the fact that he got, a bit loser to Dani. She wanted to start a fistfight with him. Who does he think he is, getting closer to HER.

Anyhow, she didn't wanna tell her friends about her silly jealousy. Or that she was crazy inlove with her friend. Maybe not crazy, but definitely, inlove. She played with the hem of her shirt, feeling a sense if nervousness. What should the girl say?

Moments of silence began. Awkwardness appeared.

Seconds, got longer.

Finally, a response was made.

"Uh... nothing," Haerin awkwardly said, smiling. Her eyes now averted her eyes from the group. Eyes, which are now placed on Danielle. Her friends believed about what she said. After all, 'not all people are what they seem to be.'

But Hanni, was sure there was something, she just wasn't sure.

The school's bell rang loudly than ever, loud enough to deafen ears. Anyhow, the students rushed, walked into the school, going into their supposed classes. The three mates, Minji, Hyein and Hanni parted ways together, leaving Haerin. However, many of the students crowded the halls, making her slow down.

Suddenly, she felt a soft tug on her sleeve, lowering down to her wrist. Surprised, Haerin turned her view of sight, and saw her.

The one and only, Danielle.

Once she saw her, she once again, saw the sweetest smile tug upon the girls face. Haerin could only look at her in awe. With that, Danielle pulled Haerin closer to her, "Sorry, you were about to bump into someone,"

Haerin couldn't even answer her. The two were very close to eachother. Haerin's heart was beating fast. Was this a dream, or what? After all of her jealousy, and frustration, those all went away, all because of a simple move.

"Ah, t-thank's Dani," she awkwardly stuttered. Danielle kept her stare on the cat's face, but Haerin tried her best, to look away.

As the path cleared up, Dani softly moved her soft touch to the girl's hand, and began walking. With such sudden action, Haerin almost tripped, but gained composure, as it was no dream at all. Since she was behind her crush, her smile was the biggest she's ever smiled before. Grinning ear to ear, she enjoyed this little, but big moment. Atleast to her.

Once their walking pastened up, they reached their class before they could be late.
Danielle let her touch get lost from Haerin's. Which was obvious that the girl got a tint of disappointment, but barely cared, since she held her crush's hand. Something barely anyone could do, atleast in her world.

Anyway, the two sat down in their respective seats.

The teacher smiled, and began the hardworking lesson.

But being the so-called cat she is, her curiosity lit up, and carefully examined the boy who sat on Danielle's desk, a day ago.

Haerin would not lie, though her jealousy, and confusion was top to him. He was quite pretty.
But she stopped her thoughts, remembering how annoyed she got because of him. She sighed, and listened to the teacher.

The class finally finished, the students let out long breaths, from the so-so suffereing of the assignments handed. Haerin got up from her seat, she wanted to have a little chat with her lovey-dovey crush. But her plans would soon get ruined from the same boy she called, 'pretty'. She wanted to return in time, and that time, would be that she never examined him, and NEVER called him pretty.

"Hey Dani!" Dani turned around, and noticed the boy walking towards her, with his hand lifted.

The catgirl scoffed, she was mad once again at the nickname.

"Hi Jungwon!"

"So that's his name." Haerin silently thought, as she slouched down on her hard desk. Her head was on her arms, with her head tilted to the side.

"I was thinking... do you want to go hangout this afternoon?" he brightly smiled, "Uh, and don't worry, you can bring your friends too, if you'd like... unless you'd wanna be alone." he said. But that last part was reserved, and quiet. With Danielle's reaction, it was clear she didn't hear that last bit, but she did. Haerin did.

"Please don't accept, please do-"

"Sure!"

Haerin had a roller coaster of emotions.
Don't worry, Dani is just really popular, pretty, attractive, kind... of course he'd wanna hangout with her. 

She told herself.

Suddenly, she remembered his words saying that she could invite her friends.

Haerin smirked, knowing definitely she'd ask the cat.

Haerin smiled to herself, and confidently walked passed the talking duo.

Suddenly, she heard a familiar voice, "Haerin-ah! I have to ask!" Haerin tried her best to look innocent as if she hadn't just heard their whole convo.

"Yes, dani?" she responded looking dumbfounded.

"Do you wanna hangout with me and Jungwon?" she asked, smiling brightly at Haerin.

The curious cat tried her best shot at acting surprised, which simehow went well, and agreed. Once she walked out the classroom, she smiled to her so-called victory.

After that, she walked proudly through the halls, making other students question why she look's like that, why she acting like that, and most importantly, who got her acting like that.

Being the introverted known person she was, they were quite surprised.

But Haerin cared less, and cared more about the hangout.
