Moving In!

*This will be in 1st person*

Selena

I sat next to my dad nervously. I stared out the car window trying to ease my nerves. I hadn't seen my mom or sister in two years. So this was bound to be interesting..
I wonder if they even still like me. Or if Aph still recognizes me.

Suddenly the car came to a halt. My dad and I looked at each other.

"We've arrived. Will you be okay?" said my dad.

"Yeah, I'll be fine, it's just I haven't seen them in years"

"You'll be fine Lena. She's your mom and Aphmau is your sister. I believe in you"

"Yeah,your right dad. I can do this" I say before getting out of the car and grabbing my suitcases. My dad gets out to help me as well. He wraps his arms around me in a tight hug.

"Goodbye Dad"

"Goodbye Selena. And be careful"

He lets go of me before getting back in the car and driving off. I sigh as I look at the red Mercedes as it drives off. I take my suitcases and knock on the front door. The door almost immediately flies open.
I look at the woman standing I'm the doorway. It's my mom, Sylvanna. She looks exactly the same as the day I left. But even better now. She looks more,alive.

"Mija? Is that really you?"

"Yes ma, it's me. In the flesh"

She started tearing up and immediately gave me a big hug.

"You're so big now! I can't believe it's been nine years"

I give her a awkward smile. "Yeah, nine years. I haven't seen you since I was like seven".

"Well. I'm glad your back. Now c'mon in!"

I walk inside the house taking a look at my surroundings. It still looks the same. I turn to my mother as she closes the front door.

"So.. where's Aphmau"

"She's probably in her room playing some game. Oh and your room is ready for you. The Second door on the left"

I nod. "Second door on the left"

She smiles. I walk upstairs to my room which is right next to Aphs. I put my stuff in my room. The room isn't that bad. It has a bed with a desk and a walk in closet,and also a bedside table. Not bad. I start to unpack and decorate my room.

I looked around the room. It looked more alive now. Plus it had a lot of purple in it. Perfect. I walk towards Aphmau's room. I knock on her door.

"Mom,I told you I am getting everything ready for tomorrow"

I chuckle and walk inside. "Do I look like mom to you?" I ask her teasingly.

She shrieks and somehow stumbles over. "Selena?! I didn't know you arrived!"

"Yeah just finished unpacking. So how've you been?"

"Alright,I mean we just moved here. And I was homeschooled last year so I haven't seen another kid my age in a year!"

"Doesn't sound that bad. But It is understandable. I mean I just moved in with you guys but I've been going to Phoenix Drop since my freshman year"

Aphmau moans "Yeah,you already have friends at school. And your a cool Junior,I'm scared people are gonna hate me! Since I'm a weird freshman".

I put my hand on her shoulder trying to comfort her. "It'll be okay,plus if anyone gives you trouble I'll beat their ass".

She chuckles. "Thanks Lena. You may have not been living with us for the past nine years but it feels like you never left".

I smile at her. This year was gonna be awesome.
