He answered it immediately.

"Gusto mo bang magtanan?" I teased.

Natawa ako dahil doon. I can't see him right now but I know his reaction.
"Joke lang!" I said while still laughing.
"Bakit ba?" He asked.
"Are you busy? Wanna do a midnight stroll?" I asked. "Wala naman akong pasok bukas so I can."
"It's already 10 PM Zera, go to sleep." He said.
"Kaya nga midnight stroll eh." Parang tanga. "Alright fine, I'll just ask Vier."
"No, wait for me. Susunduin kita." Omg yes.
"Okay love!"
"Wait for me darling." He ended the call.
Shit kinikilig ako.
Nagbihis na lang ako tapos I sneaked out of the house.
After few minutes dumating si Trent dito.
"Hi!" I greeted.
"Why do you want to go? Is there something wrong?" He asked.
"Nothing really, I just can't really sleep." I said.
"Sure darling, where do you want to go?" He asked.
"I don't know eh." Sabi ko.
"Alright, leave it to me." He started driving.
I just texted kuya that I went to a midnight stroll with Trent, kase kung kanina ako nagpaalam hinding-hindi niya ako papayagan.
Tahimik lang kami ni Trent until he started talking to me.
"Why did you and your siblings move out of your house by the way?" He asked.
"I... didn't tell you this but... my father is... abusive. Kuya protects us from him but... whenever kuya's not around he hurts us." I almost whispered.
"Fucking bitch." He said.
"I know." I said.
Pumunta kami sa downtown tapos we bought foods, hindi ko alam kung saan niya ako dadalhin.
He brought me sa taas ng hill, he stopped doon sa flat part sa taas, naglatag siya ng picnic mat tapos kinuha niya 'yung mga pagkain.
"Isn't it dangerous here?" I asked.
"Who cares, I have my gun with me."
What a stupid response.
Umupo ako sa mat.
May kinuha siya sa kotse niya, it's a light.
Halatang ready ah.
He sat beside me.
"Mumukbangin tayo ng mga lamok dito but nevermind them." He said.
Kumain lang ako ng chips while looking at the city view.
"Can you see that beach over there?" I asked and pointed at the beach near the City Mall.
