Tears welled up in her eyes as she looked at Milind's photo on her mobile.
Kamal and Pallavi are now proud parents of a lovely boy, Milind. Wish you were here with us...
Suddenly, she noticed Saahil laying awake in the hospital baby bed. She quickly wiped away her tears and approached him with a smile.
"Your mumma is sleeping now…" Parvati said softly to the baby as Pallavi was asleep, "would you like to meet your bade papa?"
Parvati showed her mobile which had Milind's photo to the baby with a warm smile. "This is Milind, your bade papa. He is the most lovely person, and loves you very much."
As the baby gazed at Milind's picture, Parvati smiled more at him but also felt a pang of longing for her husband. Her heart ached to have him by her side to enjoy these beautiful moments together.
"Where is my boy?" Kamal burst into the room, holding balloons and toys with excitement. The sudden noise and commotion made little Saahil cry, which woke up his mother too.
"Kamal, what are you doing…?!" Parvati affectionately chided him for his loud entrance and took Saahil in her arms to soothe his cries. "Did your father scare you, darling? Alright my baby…Calm down…"
"Kamal, look at what you've done!" Pallavi exclaimed, her eyes filled with both annoyance and affection.
"Oh! I'm sorry!" Quickly realizing his mistake, Kamal apologized and kept toys and balloons aside. Eventually Parvati was able to soothe Saahil and tuck him into bed.
"Thanks bhabhi, you have been a great help," Pallavi said, feeling gratitude for Parvati's help in caring for her precious newborn and also taking care of her during her pregnancy. She couldn't imagine navigating her pregnancy and child birth journey without her sister-in-law's unwavering presence.
Suddenly, Suyash walked in, bringing smiles on everyone's face. Parvati's face lit up with joy as she welcomed him. "Mr. Mehra, I'm glad you came," she exclaimed.
Suyash smiled warmly at her and then handed a bouquet to Pallavi, congratulating her on the new addition to her family.
"Thank you, Mr. Mehra," Pallavi thanked him, and Suyash's attention turned to the tiny bundle in the bed. "He's a beautiful baby," he remarked, gazing at the newborn with affection.
Parvati smiled looking at the tiny saahil who was staring back at her and Suyash.
"Mr.Mehra, would you like to hold him?" Parvati asked.
Suyash was hesitant as he wasn't accustomed to handling newborns. "Parvati ji, I would love to, but I'm nervous. I don't know how to hold such a little baby."
Parvati giggled and reassured him with a smile, "Don't worry, Mr.Mehra, I'll teach you."
She picked up Saahil and handed him to Suyash, saying, "hold him like this, with one hand underneath his head.'"
As she guided his hands, Suyash felt a rush of emotion holding the precious life in his arms.
When Parvati and Suyash caught each other's eyes, they exchanged a smile. Their hearts melted at the sight of an adorable little baby.
They all chatted for a while, and then when Suyash mentioned that he had to leave, Pallavi urged Parvati, her face showing genuine concern, "bhabhi, you need to go home and rest. You've been at the hospital all night."
Kamal too said,"yes, bhabhi, you should take a break."
Parvati smiled and looked at Saahil, her eyes twinkling with affection for the little one. "No, it's okay. I'm fine," she said. "I love spending time with our Saahil."
