Freen POV
Third Person
"Aaand CUT!"
Freen immediately jumped away from the caravan. What was she doing? She wasn't even thinking when she touched her knee to Becky's. And once she looked into Becky's eyes she physically couldn't look away.
The rest of the rehearsals were for the rest of the cast so she spoke to a few of the AV crew before leaving as fast as she could.
She gets home to find Kade in her room scrolling on her phone. She looks up when she sees Freen come through the door.
"Hey how was work?"
"Good," She sees Kade goes back to typing on her phone, then backspacing.
"Who ya texting?"
Kade looks up at Freen again with wide eyes. "Oh uh, Becky." Freen froze. Oh. What? Was Becky still texting her?
"What are you guys texting about?" She asks as casually as she could while jumping on her bed next to her.
"Well nothing actually, I'm trying to text her but I have no idea what to say. She hasn't spoken to me since I left her at the party while we were kissing."
Freen felt a burn of jealousy at the mention of the kiss, which of course she shoved so deep down she'll shit it out on Christmas morning.
"Alright how's this?" Kade showed Freen her screen with a simple message drafted.
"Uh yeah sure send it."
Freen was distracted. She couldn't tell anyone about how she feels about Becky. Aside from her diary of course.
Kade continues texting, though Freen doesn't notice. All she can think about was the moment with Becky. She could've sworn Becky was looking at her the same way.
"Omg look she responded."
Kade's voice broke her thoughts. She looks over to her screen to see a whole conversation.
Kade_Sopht:
Hey, it's been a while:/ sorry for ditching u at the party
Beckysangels:
Oh uhh don't worry abt it. How u been?
Kade_Sopht:
My parents noticed the broken vase. I'm grounded. I can only go to freen's house :((
Beckysangels:
Oh. Ru there rn? Also shit yeah i get it you've been busy.
I really missed you though :)
"She's being understanding of why we haven't texted. Honestly I haven't met someone like her. uh, are you okay with us maybe being a thing?"
Freen looks from the screen back to Sara. She just stares at Kade, unable to process them 'being a thing.'
"Cuz honestly, I think it's okay if you're not. I've been friends with you since the beginning of time, and while I've been clear about how stupid your rivalry is, I'm always going to choose you over anything."
That relieved Freen.
"You mean that? Goddamn it I love you, Kade."
Kade laughed and cuddled into Freen. "I love you too cunt."
The next day they met again at their filming set and Becky decided to get back at Freen. This meant acting like the moves Freen was making was working. Which wouldn't really be acting because it was working. But Becky won't think about that.
Before Becky could do that though, Freen grabbed her arm and dragged her near the writers room, away from the filming set.
"End whatever relationship you have with Kade."
"What?"
Freen looked more than angry. She was fuming.
"Yeah I think not." Becky was fine with not talking to Kade, but it felt so good seeing Freen as mad as she was.
"You can't keep leading her on. She is so massively out of your league."
"Try and stop me." Becky smirked and tried to walk away, but didn't get far before she was pulled and slammed into a wall.
"I'm so fucking serious Armstrong."
Both girls couldn't help but notice how natural their fight felt. It was almost...nice.
Becky was ready to get physical, and rolled up her sleeves to throw a punch, when the writers room opened and Matt Davison stepped out.
And he looked mad.
Matt Davison brought both girls into a seperate room and closed the door.
He massaged his forehead and sighed.
"Girls. I thought we had progress. We made an agreement that your dislike for each other wouldn't get in the way of filming."
Dislike was a massive understatement.... I think
Becky thinks about all their fights during their filming scenes and realises they haven't held up their end of the agreement.
"I'm being serious, if you two don't figure this out we'll bring in the big guns. Get along before we all lose our jobs because you two can't act together."
He walked out of the room to leave the two girls alone.
Freen and Becky sit in silence, only now realizing how many problems they may cause if they don't get their shit together.
Freen finally opens her mouth to let out a sigh.
Then she says, "Listen. I'm serious when I say I'll make your life hell if you don't get away from Kade. That being said, We really have to get our shit together Armstrong."
Becky was going to suggest taking acting classes, for her of course, Becky could act perfectly fine, but before she could say that, Matt Davison walks back into the room with a newfound motivation.
"Fake dating."
"What??" Both girls exclaimed at the same time.
"I spoke with a few people, and fake dating could work. You'd be acting in love, in public atleast, 24/7, plus you'd be improvising all the time. It's perfect. It's not only going to strengthen your acting skills, you may even become friends!"
He seemed pretty set on the idea. He smiled with a sparkle in his eye, then promptly left.
Both girls couldn't process what had just happened. They both sat there speechless, trying to wrap their head around the idea of them dating in real life, even if it was fake. In front of their friends, their classmates, paparazzi??
Freen opened her mouth, took a deep breath and shouted, "FUCK!!"
