Jungkook sighed exasperatedly rubbing the hand over his face wearily. Taehyung was really going to drive him crazy, sooner or later.

His personal secretary's phone rang a couple of times before the brunette hesitantly answered in his always damn deep voice "Yes, Mr. Jeon?"

"In my office Kim, now."

He knew he often behaved like an asshole with his subordinates and with the boy who had been working for him as secretary for just over four months, he was even more so than usual. Yet he couldn't help it, considering who he was facing.

When heard him silently enter his office and close the door behind, he didn't even turn around "Kim could you kindly explain to me why the heck the speech for the opening of the new hotel isn't still on my desk two days before the inauguration?"

He clearly heard the other hold his breath for a moment "I-I don't..."

"Don't stammer Kim! You know it makes me mad." he said coldly as finally turned to face him. Jungkook slowly went around the large glass and steel desk to confront him with an intimidating attitude.

The scanty light coming from the lamp on the table wasn't enough to completely dispel the semi-darkness that entered from the huge window behind him and that overlooked the center illuminated by the skyscrapers of Seoul.

Consequently, given the dim light, his secretary's beautiful face seemed more delicate than it actually was.

Taehyung was handsome in the truest sense of the word, with features that looked like they were painted by a divine hand. Handsome but not particularly delicate.

It was virile and ethereal at the same time.

Jungkook tried not to get distracted by Taehyung's perfectly drawn lips, chiseled jaw and muscular neck. Luckily the brunette had downcast eyes or he wouldn't have been able to stay detached for long. He dreamed of those warm hazel eyes now even at night and, at such a close distance, they would not have been healthy for his mental well-being. Nor for his hormones, since he turned him on as hell.

"Mr. Kim, why isn't the speech on my desk yet? It should have been ready for days and instead you didn't present it to me tonight either. Do you know, right, that it has to be reviewed by me before being approved?"

Taehyung just couldn't look up and see the disappointment, again, in his boss's eyes.

He didn't know why but Mr. Jeon was never satisfied with the work he did for him.

He had worked for two years at another company carrying out the same job and his former boss had always praised him for his skills and commitment.

Tae then moved to Seoul and had immediately found work, also thanks to excellent references, at Jeon & Park Corp. as personal secretary of one of the two founders.

He had been very happy about it at first but as time went on the more it seemed that he never do things in a way that was entirely satisfactory to Mr. Jeon, although he always performed his duties with care, dedication and speed.

If he got even the slightest thing wrong it felt like a damn catastrophe every single time.

If he worked well... it was only his duty. And sometimes, even though he'd done everything right, the man still seemed somewhat displeased or even just annoyed by him.

But this time Taehyung was in serious trouble.

The problem was, he couldn't tell whose fault it was because Mr. Jeon would have scolded him anyway and maybe thought he was talking to create trouble.

Not that he would have been entirely wrong...

He really couldn't stand the person behind this mess but Taehyung knew that it was still his responsibility and that he shouldn't have delegated, or at least he should have theoretically checked that the work was delivered on time. The problem was that he had absolutely no say in it, even though it was his direct responsibility.
